Working with my B4GA
there are two holes on the brake pedal

Also same two holes on my B3HH.... I don’t see the second hole referenced in the manual. Anyone know if this is an additional adjustment of some kind? The upper hole is for the MC push rod on both trucks.

my b3b and b4d don’t have the second hole....

Air brakes...?

Both are hydraulic with boosters

Gotta get a part # off the pedal for the best answer.

The 1274170 # fits all B3 trucks F thru Y

Including cab overs.

Cab overs and R Thru Y trucks most likely use the extra hole.

Kinda a universal brake pedal for all Medium to heavy hydraulic brake trucks.

Air brake trucks use the treadle style pedal....completely different.

Brent you only need one flaring tool to do a brake or fuel line.

NOT a tool for each end...jeez?

Yeah Rob! :P

I inherited a few sets and bought the one in the package years ago. I am just not smart enough to use them effectively.

my new "Mastercool" one arrives Friday.....

You are going to love that "Mastercool" set Brent.

A little awkward of using it at first until you get the routine down but never a poor flare.

Meaning the way to hold/support it...on the bench or using on the vehicle.

And just the process of steps of usage.

I have done hundreds of flares with mine.

A great flaring tool. Costly but worth it if you want/need a good one.

And if you should need parts they will be available in the future unlike China tools made once and never again.

Mark..

Once you get your 3rd eledgible to play flare tool...and please no China junk..

Let's play who's got the mostest/ bestest toolageage game....

Tooling competition can be pretty fierce and really expensive.....

So Brent is on the prowl for a new tool or (tools)... now I feel the need ....

....and what is Tim up to? Electrostatic paint system?

Is Ed searching for more Snap-on...I'm sure he is

Me....always wanted a crankshaft grinder...hmmmm?

Ed is just a kid Rob, he doesn’t know any better  ?

I have to admit I too bought HF recently (cause I thought I was young) blast gloves $29.99!

two months later (one on the left) fell apart

I bought a set from the Tacoma co. $35. Free shipping.....

My new theory is “buy once, cry once”. ?

say, looking at my pedal number on both trucks The number is the 126289... zero?

looks like it was the same pedal used in the 1/2-1 ton but no second hole on them.
If you think about it, Next time your under one of your Medium duty trucks wonder if yours is the same and the book had a typo?

still don’t know what the second hole is for... would an over drive or 5sp change the MC push rod location?

If it ever quits raining I'll look at my

2-1/2  tonner pedal.

The pedal # on 1/2 - 1 ton is 1262809.

Info out of the parts books.

Their new icon line looks like nice stuff. I'm going to try a set of 1/2 drive deep metric sockets. That's the only main set I don't have in snap on and at $60 versus about $250-300 I'm going to try it.
