Robin (UK) Posted October 1, 2017 Report Posted October 1, 2017 (edited) The 3rd Annual P-15 Picnic was a great success. We even welcomed our first overseas visitor... a P15 owner from Holland who is planning to bring his car next year. It was a good day out... Edited October 1, 2017 by Robin (UK) 5 4 Quote

Also a few owners whose cars couldn't make the trip. And some 'guest' classic cars, too. Quote
DonaldSmith Posted October 1, 2017 Report Posted October 1, 2017 It looks like all the steering wheels are on the left. Don't stick out your arm if you are close to the curb. (kerb?) Are these all, or most of them, imports from the States? (States: Canadian shorthand for the United States of America. What do the Brits call the USA, politely, of course?) Quote
knuckleharley Posted October 1, 2017 Report Posted October 1, 2017 That's a mighty impressive display of 40's Mopars. One any Mopar club in the US would be proud of. 1 Quote

greg g Posted October 2, 2017 Report Posted October 2, 2017 We did a 200 mile jaunt accompanied by our friends in their 51 Cambridge. Attended a cruise in, fly in, pancake breakfast. Visited a local mini brewery for a bit of hop pop. Great day for a ride through the countryside. Too early for leaf peeping, but a good day on the road. Good turn out for your group. 1 Quote

There are a few right hand drive cars over here (originally supplied to Africa) We also say 'The States'... it's almost like we speak the same language! Quote

I had a great time ,roll on next year! Graham was hoping to bring his DeSoto business coupe but didn't make it. Dave will also hopefully have his finished for next year's meet. There's a T&C that's local to our meet but the owner is usually away at this time of year. Don't know of any woody wagons in the UK, though. Quote
61farnham Posted October 2, 2017 Report Posted October 2, 2017 Enjoyed the day. Good to get the Plymouth back on the road with a 200 mile round trip. Many thanks to Robin & team for their efforts. 2 Quote
