casper50 Posted May 6, 2015 Report Posted May 6, 2015 I bought mine at Rock Auto. No problems so far but I'm only running it mounted in the frame only for now. Quote
46Ply Posted May 6, 2015 Report Posted May 6, 2015 (edited) I need a pump for mine, and the question is... On the Airtex 73201, it has this note: (All except models equipped with combination fuel and vacuum pump) How do I know what is correct for my car? Edited May 6, 2015 by 46Ply Quote

On the Airtex 73201, it has this note: (All except models equipped with combination fuel and vacuum pump) How do I know what is correct for my car? Does you car have a dual action (vacuum for wipers and pump for fuel) pump on it? Quick check is to see if there is a vacuum line from the manifold to the pump and from the pump into the car body. 46Ply Posted May 6, 2015 Report Posted May 6, 2015 Thanks for the quick reply. I need to order this today. Problem is, I'm in NC, and the car is in IL. I'll call my repair man and ask? Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted May 6, 2015 Report Posted May 6, 2015 (edited) I often buy from home..drop ship as gifts to others...easy to do.... Edited May 6, 2015 by Plymouthy Adams Quote
46Ply Posted May 6, 2015 Report Posted May 6, 2015 (edited) Just bought mine from AutoPartsExpress. $66.20 delivered. Update, This car does have vacuum wipers! So, now I'm wondering how to deal with that. The only fuel pump available is the single action, as far as I can tell. Edited May 6, 2015 by 46Ply Quote
Young Ed Posted May 6, 2015 Report Posted May 6, 2015 Yes vacuum wipers but does the vacuum supply come from the engine or the fuel pump? Quote

Your wiper vacuum source is probably the intake manifold. Quote
46Ply Posted May 6, 2015 Report Posted May 6, 2015 Good deal, Now I can concentrate on repairing the vacuum wiper motor. Quote
