Ed and I went back to French Lake today...got some goodies to add to the parts list in the classifieds section.  But I'm most excited that they had a pretty decent shape B1/B2 there with lots of parts still on it, so I got a passenger door for TODD that has NO rust on it on the bottom at all!  SCORE!

Don't forget my 39-47 floor insert without rust chunks falling off.

Went again today. Didn't get a whole lot. I am happy to have found the missing heater duct for my p15 dual heater setup and I put some effort into salvaging 5 bed to fender bolts-only 7 more to go.....

well the ones I'll cut off on Saturday won't be saved to get those fenders.  IF I have time I'll try some heat and muscle to see if I can save any first.

You'll notice most of them missing from that truck.....the couple that are left are pretty stripped out.

quick trip to Wind Hill and French Lake got me these goodies!

My haul:  B1/2 horn button, B3/4 horn button, oil filter housing and clamp, head light rings

instrument hoods gas tank bracket, interior window bezels, divider bar (in and out), MoPaR Jiffy Jet bag (display only it's trashed), glove box door and spring, 4 hood handles, and some Dodge 200 badging.

For Ed an older gas/ammeter gauge cluster.

Also a chunk of a dash for the cut out part of TODD's dash.

Not shown: B3/4 rad top cowl, rear bed brace, 4 trucks worth of interior bezel screws.

pait of fender is better condition than I have for the caboose project.  Thanks Ed for taking half the bolts off for me...not that it mattered much once you see picture #3

Are you saying the door is for your TODD or me TODD for my daughters truck??

Damn it seems like you guys make out like bandits every time you head out there!

Not much left now...there are a few pieces left that are large with low demand...doors, hoods, inner fenders, bed braces, bed sides

Went back again yesterday. Didn't score much for truck parts except the cowl vent setup and two rear motor mount bolts. Got the hard piping and heater valve off a 46-48 desoto. Valve moves freely and appears to be useable.

first question..is the switch bad or is it just that you do not have a matching cylinder and key?  door locks can be easily rekeyed as can the cylinder itself ONCE you have picked the lock and removed the cylinder..another task that is not that complicated..

if bad switch..many are available that folks have lost keys for I am sure, I have rekeyed a number of them for my cars to include matching them with the door locks.....if just a key issue...would suggest addressing keys only..

The switch that is in the truck is after market, it was replaced by a PO. And I would like a stock one. The door lock I'm not sure what's going on there, it looks as though it has been drilled out or something. A piece of square stock is actually used to unlock it lol

Send a message to ggdad1951 he might have grabbed one last time we were there.
