Plymouthy Adams Posted April 19, 2012 Report Posted April 19, 2012 to be honest with you..this forum has lost a lot of the jocularity it once knew..it time for a bit of lightening up on these posts and begin being less prone to dropping the hat..pick on me all you want..I will not be on the forum till next week as it is...lol..got ya again...lol tried to stand in the corner but the girl next to me wanted her legs rubbed..you gotta take a minute for your co-worker Quote
Merle Coggins Posted April 19, 2012 Report Posted April 19, 2012 I wouldn't worry about that Ed. I'm sure you can out run him. But then again, there's that youth and vigor versus old age and treachery thing. Merle Quote

PatS.... Posted April 19, 2012 Report Posted April 19, 2012 One reason NOT to pick on Tim....access to heavy weapons and aircraft...and a boat or two:eek: Quote

Plymouthy Adams Posted April 22, 2012 Report Posted April 22, 2012 Well, I see in my absence you folk have come up with a few more reasons to give me a run for the money..but I have to argue that I am more of a mountain man than a hillbilly what with respect for law, nature, mountains themselves and such.. The Charlotte swap meet was huge this year..plenty of stuff there and for once a fair amount of Mopar of our vintage thrown into the mix..I did not get to see all the show as normal but hit the swap section pretty good...most of the stuff was in "used" shape and very scattered about but at least it was making a showing..did find some nice NOS items I can use and prices were not that bad. I noticed that the street rodded vehicles are way down in asking price this year also as folks get realistic with the economy. Got to meet one of our fairly newer members, Ken Kaiser as he and wife Cindy made the trip to pick up some pieces parts. So in proud Coatney tradition I post these pics.. Quote

Plymouthy Adams Posted April 22, 2012 Report Posted April 22, 2012 that was a set of four matching 16 inch wheels with the original pinstriping...and as for the pink..I'm a pastel kinda guy..its the light color hair and fair complexion (yes there is skin beneath the beard..) Quote
RobertKB Posted April 22, 2012 Report Posted April 22, 2012 That's a nice shirt you got there Tim........... It takes a real man to wear pink. Quote
greg g Posted April 22, 2012 Report Posted April 22, 2012 (edited) Tim is one of those guys who would cheerfully give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. However, seeing the colors he is fond of usually acts to disuade you from your perception of need...... Edited April 23, 2012 by greg g Quote
mrwrstory Posted April 23, 2012 Report Posted April 23, 2012 Tim has been very helpful to me, along with his step brother Don Coatney. I'm not apt to pick on either until I get all the info I need. Besides they're both bigger'n me! Quote

randroid Posted April 23, 2012 Report Posted April 23, 2012 Gents, If you're going to pick on Tim may I suggest wearing heavy rubber gloves and a full-body condom. The pink shirt and handgun should tell you that. -Randy Quote
kkaiser001 Posted April 23, 2012 Report Posted April 23, 2012 Speaking of the tires that got away. After picking the parts up from Tim I got around 30 miles from Wilmington when I looked in the rear view mirror and saw one escaping from my trailer. I watched helplessly as it followed me for a while and then made a left and crossed over the divided highway crossed over two more lanes and headed for the woods. I think it is hunting season as it fortunately did not venture into the woods too far. Needless to say I stalked it down and got it back into the trailer. Quote
