Hey, went for a drive tonight, temp was still close to 90, and gonna be 95 tomorrow too.

It dawned on me, that I have racked up about 7000-8000 miles in 4 years on my 47.

Now this engine's history, and mileage are unknown, it was plucked out of a smashed up 1951 Canuck Dodge. It supposedly had only moderate miles, she has decent oil pressure, and the last compressin test show 100-110 across the board.

Not sure how many miles she will take, and I hope it is many more, I drive her pretty easy, staying around 55 mph on the 2 lane highways.

Just a question I thought would throw out there for any who car to post.....

I think I'm at about 16K. I was gonna add in how many years but I can't remember when I got spot. I'm thinking 2003.

Since April of 2005 36,000+ miles and still putting them on my '51.

I've put about 30K on my '47 D25 since purchase in the fall of 1991. There were a couple years it didn't turn a wheel and up 'till three years ago it hadn't been more than 100 miles from home base.

My 2011 total is 7,960.2 (the last 1,114.5 with a busted #2 piston — tough engines, these old flatheads).

about 25K since repaint, and about 7K on the rebuilt engine. About 35K since I aquired it from the original owner in 1970. Car was in storage from 78 to 2000.

***got the '48 on the road in '99, have put 10.5k on it since in road testing; the last 500 have finally resolved the intermittent carb issues and hot hard starting.

***got the '49 on the road in '04, put 1k on it in road testing, finally resolving the hot hard starting just in time for that tow-truck induced steering failure....cain't wait to tear that beast apart to fix that, knock out the dents, replace the wiring and whutnot

I got my 47 P15 drivable and tagged late spring this year I drive it about 200 to 250 miles a week since I was able to start driving it. Im guessing about 2 to 3k in the last several months. Other than the usual Carb and ignition problems that I recieved help for here, I have driven the snot out of this car and I love driving it. Black satin paint, battle scars, and rust pits all over. I still get people telling me I have such a cool car. MOPARS really are cool cars.

Since 1991 I have put over 20,000 miles on my old Plymouth, the engine is tired, beginning to have blow by, but right now a quart of oil is cheaper than rings and such. The miles I have put on her are basically all local miles, other than driving it to Rhinebeck and back one year, just over 100 miles round trip and one year up to Camden when we still lived upstate, which was close to 100 miles round trip. One day last week Cooper and I put 80 miles on the Plymouth riding around taking photos when we drove up to Roscoe and other points here in the Catskills. Just enjoy driving the "Wayback Machine" along the back roads with my faithful co-pilot

I bought my 55 in 2001 and it registered 37,xxx. Drove it hard as soon as I got it drivable(about 6 months later), and sold it in 2011 with 75,xxx. With a couple thousand more(probably) while the speedo cable was broken, that puts me around 40k for ten years.

Man, I am WAY behind you'uns. We've had the D24 for 20 years (kinda cool that my adult kids can't seem to remember us NOT having it). Took a couple years to get it streetable, then drove it about 500 miles a year on little local trips, then moved to Michigan where we'd only drive it during the "season", and on those horrible roads I wasn't keen on taking it very far with the progressively worsening steering. The roads aren't much better in New York (western NY, anyway), but now that the steering got fixed in time for this summer we've had it out pretty often, still just short trips, tho. A mere 7,000 or so miles on it in 20 years....time to catch up now that its not such an adventure to keep it between the ditches.

My odometer has never worked despite my best efforts, so don't really know how many miles I have put on it since I purchase it in June 2007. What I do no is that I have put over 4100 miles on it just in 4 trips to Joplin for the HAMB Drags and 1 to Austin for the Round UP. Before I closed my local office last year and started working from home it was my daily driver on a 26 mile round trip, so that is about another 12,000 miles.

I think I have 200 miles on my car total. for the year. My car since I built it has about 1,800 miles. My motor is not nroken in yet. I have driven the car to Baltimore and to Richnond VA. I'm ashamed of myself:( I should drive it more but other cars get in the way.

Just rolled 65K on Ruby's ODO this past weekend. When I got her in February she had just over 61k on her. I'll probably do another 1.5k this year before I put her away for her winter nap. I just love driving her and she seems to like being driven, so I'll likely keep up the same pace until one of us gives out. ;)... and hopefully that's not for at least another 40 years.

Only 1546 mi. since I bought the car in April 2007. :( However, now that I live in North Carolina I hope to drive it more, since I won't have to take it off the road for winter.

Oh if only I lived somewhere warm enough to do that. Two winters worth of driving would have torn that nice plymouth apart.

When I got my P12 in August 2007 it had 65,000 miles. But the cable was broke and the odometer was frozen. I bought and installed an NOS one in Feb. 2009. I've put 5,193.8 since then. I've been driving it off and on to Malabar, which is 30 miles. It has been running pretty good.
