What caught my eye is that locomotive on a four five axle truck!  When I thought about that, most of that locomotive was that large boiler tank, I think.

Thanks for all the great pics JB. Love the Match Motors and Van ...looks like they are setting it up for a advertisement photo as the background is "fake".

However, just for an Aussie...what is the "hamb"?

here is an oddly familiar looking panel on the hamb

Not sure upload worked, since I don't see my picture.  My 1937 Plymouth 4-dr sedan and 1945 Dodge WC 1/2 ton.  Both restored by an amateur (me) to look original.

Could be one of my distant relatives.

Large groups of Dutch settlers originally came to the US and altered their names somewhat with many variations. Most settled first in the upper N.Y. and tried farming, mostly apples. My grandfather's family became the Van Voris family. A another friends family also came and settled first in the same part of the country became the Van Voorhees. Many second generation from the area moved to friendlier climates? Mine came to Ca. on the box car express!  :D

Just made the pic more interesting.

Thanks,

DJ
