Frank Elder Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 Who was the first person who introduced you to this site, or did you stumble on it? Quote
Normspeed Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 Stumbled onto it. alomg with a few other sites. This is the only one I stuck with though. Quote
randroid Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 Gents, Like Normspeed, I stumbles onto it while doing research on my P15. Belong to several other forums, too, but This is the one I visit on an almost-daily basis. -Randy Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 Seems like I initially stumbled onto it while surfing for old Plymouth stuff. At that time, was not familiar with forums of any sort. After reading a while, decided to join in. Turned out to be a great place. Quote
Don Coatney Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 I found and posted to this site before the first "refresh" on the old format. My first posting was a question on where to find a dual manifold. If you check your profile there is a "Referrals:" counter. This counter tracks how many people you have invited to this forum. My current count is 9 referrals. Quote
Dennis Hemingway Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 I stumbled onto this site while researching information on my P15. Dennis:D Quote
Grandadeo Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 You can blame Normspeed for me being here. I belong to too many forums, just ask my wife. She just doesn't get this computer thing. Lee Quote

Plymouthy Adams Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 seek and ye shall find... Quote
RobertKB Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 I know I stumbled on to the site but I am not sure why. I had everything I needed for my car but must have been doing research of some kind. At the time pictures of a Canadian Dodge D25 were being looked for so I mailed some (snail mail as I had no digital camera or scanner then) and they were used on the home page section "Why a combined P15-D24 site ?". Didn't start on the forum until quite a bit later. Quote
Tony Cipponeri Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 G.T. Himself told me about this site, and I have to thank him for it. Tony C Quote

littleman Posted January 25, 2009 Report Posted January 25, 2009 Had a young man come up to me at a cruise night summer of 2003 in Encinitas, said he was from the SE and was out here visiting his son. Told me about the forum, and that I should check it out. Name? best I can remember is Nice Guy. Thanks if your still around. AL Quote
Xea737373 Posted January 25, 2009 Report Posted January 25, 2009 I posted a question on the I.I. board about a Flathead 6 & 3 speed w/overdrive I have in a 1958 Plymouth Suburban. Blueskies Pete posted a wonderful wire diagram from this site. He also gave a link to his excellent information, where he has a lnk to here. I know I'm not a P15-D24, but the running gear I have is discussed extensivly here and I am trying to learn as much as I can about these raskals. I also heard some mention of this site at the Foward Look Network BB as I frequent there quite often. There I learned about Vintage Power Wagons where I was able to obtain a complete head to pan engine when my block after Magnaflux revealed some cracks through the valve seats in the engine that came in my wagon. I've reveiwed all the pictures at Don Coatneys photo site and currenty underway in setting up a 1 wire alternator on my stuff. Once again, I know it's not P15-D24, but here is a link to pictures of my project. http://s366.photobucket.com/albums/oo109/xxeaa/ Quote
