  1. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"...not mine or most (ok, maybe all) here, but someone's...."different strokes for different folks", etc. The list of cliches' is endless.
  2. This place may have them, but didn't see any listed for early Mopar. A few mouse clicks or a phone call should get you an answer. http://www.c2cfabrication.com/
  3. It does come with the RARE VINTAGE NOS faux zebra covered bench seat.
  4. In the 30's here.....does riding my skateboard at the skate park count as a winter ride?
  5. Once you get the engine, you can check the engine# here:http://www.t137.com/registry/help/otherengines/otherengines.php.......to help identify it.
  6. I have 1 also & the same offer applies.
  7. I think you're right. I had my master re-sleeved in s.s. with a slightly smaller bore that utilized over the counter/readily available internals.....with the built-in valve removed.
  8. I used Rusty Hope's front disc conversion, kept my original master, used a 2# residual valve for the front & a 10# for the stock rear drums.
  9. Any reasons why you didn't have them re-sleeved with s.s.?
  10. Mike, no hurry on returning it, I don't plan on pulling my drums in the near future. Take your time & get your brakes done to your satisfaction. Derek
  11. Mike, have you considered having your wheel cylinders resleeved with s.s. A bit more up front, but you or any future owners won't have to worry about pitting & you'll retain your original made in USA (hopefully) parts. That's what I did a couple years ago. How's the 1750 working out? Derek
  12. Yep, as far as '67....1st year for 12V for all VW's I think & I prefer the smaller front marker lights & rear tail lights of pre '70. If you don't mind, here are 3 pics (sorry for the poor quality-pics of pics) of mine (1st 2 finished just before I sold it & 1 prior to being finished-around 1983-hence the awful rattle can primer/stripes)....if it's a problem or too OT, I will delete.....
  13. See my edit.....was on, changed to in, maybe TOO offensive to some??!!
  14. They're not located on Uranus?
  15. A few members have & they should chime in a day or 2.
  16. I'm done with most of the "import crap from China" middlemen too. I'd rather repair/rebuild (if possible) or find good used or NOS/NORS parts on ebay & pay MORE for quality!
  17. Yep, all uploaded fine...VERY NICE....love the '69's & earlier, even though both of mine were 70's. Cal Style (at least that's what we called 'em), both were just as low as yours (some habits never die), one actually got finished...paint, interior, 1835cc, dual carbs, etc. Back on topic, I'll be following your progress.
  18. Congratulations.....and it's a 2 door! I believe everyone should do as they please with their car......except "rat rod" it. You have a nice start for an original car, a kustom...mild or wild, or just lowered for a stance to your liking. I like mine low & somewhat original looking. Good luck, use the "search" function, & ask away! *EDIT-looks like you had a '67 Squareback....I have a soft spot for them, my 1st car was a Squareback (in 1980). I wouldn't mind if you posted a pic or 2 in this thread, even though it's OT....it's YOUR thread.
  19. Doesn't look like winter has hit on the right coast. It was in the low 40's this morning here in So. Cal. & took the motorcycle for a spin.......chilly, but fun.
  20. Check out this thread recently on the car side, some info may be helpful:http://p15-d24.com/topic/37652-positivenegative-connections/ ****Don't worry, your computer won't explode if you venture over to the car forum.
  21. I kinda figured......not many Plymouth powered bikes around then. Great read on all 3 parts of the story.
  22. Would the "motorcycle" you're referring to be related to the one in the following Allpar link? http://www.allpar.com/history/plymouth/motorcycle.html
  23. You can read more about it here:https://tapatalk.com/
  24. Those pictures are GREAT examples of......just because someone has a welder, doesn't mean they should.
  25. Whether it's brake wheel/master cylinders, water pumps, etc.....if I have my ORIGINAL-MADE IN USA part & can't rebuild it myself, it gets sent out for a rebuild. If I have to pay more than an aftermarket POS part, fine with me. I would rather source a used repairable part if the original was missing.
