  1. That's why I posted the link...the original poster is/was looking for 1 for a long block. At that price, I'd wait. Vintage speed equipment isn't cheap, sure there are deals occasionally. With more people getting into it & less of it available, the prices keep going up. I'm sure a lot of the guys who have been around a long time have stories, getting this or that for $10 & now that same part sells for $500+....maybe 50 years from now, their son or grandson will get $2500 for that same part. Another example of supply & demand, pay to play, etc.
  2. Looks like the 1 in the ad.....pic w/tape measure shows almost 20"....center of outer port to center of outer port. Maybe I'm not getting it?
  3. The Tattersfield intake sold for $810 + shipping! Here's the long block intake your looking for....better sit down, unless it's on your watch list already. (Keep in mind, it does include air cleaners.) http://www.ebay.com/itm/Edmunds-Original-Chrys-Flat-6-Dual-Intake-Manifold-and-Two-Edmunds-Air-Cleaners/111483144579?_trksid=p2047675.c100011.m1850&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D27538%26meid%3D2cfdb1a136dd4415b9fe0dc5deb2a13d%26pid%3D100011%26prg%3D11353%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D10%26sd%3D371188405317
  4. Looks VERY nice, add a few pics to this thread......http://p15-d24.com/topic/35857-official-engine-picture-thread/
  5. No, I think Trampsteer on here posted a picture or 2 of it at the shop that was working on it....maybe on 1 of his blog entries. I'm in East Long Beach.
  6. Nice looking truck.....neighbor. Looks familiar, did it come from the OC area?
  7. My experience with my WDT is also in this thread........VERY different from most-if not all.
  8. Welcome.....try the usual ebay....some of the vendors that advertise on here-Bernbaum may have them-check the resources link. Also, pics are mandatory.
  9. .....and request that potential buyers contact you via PM (private message) or e-mail. You can go into your "settings", then "notification options" to make sure you receive PM's via e-mail.
  10. You just described where I was born, raised, & still live, boy do I get tired of it.......
  11. Good meeting everybody, we'll have to do it again.....maybe in the O.C. next time.
  12. .....and now, "the rest of the story"......http://www.allpar.com/history/plymouth/motorcycle.html
  13. My 1938 Plymouth: Same here....I prefer the '39 Dodge headlight (sort of teardrop shaped). Found this.....possibly what you have: Wedford Arrow Headlight Conversion Bezel Round bulb GE 1939 Plymouth Dodge
  14. I'll be going.
  15. I used the Rusty Hope kit on my '38 Plymouth Coupe.....here's my thread:http://p15-d24.com/topic/26625-new-front-disc-brakes-front-end-rebuild-steering-rebuild-for-the-38-plymouth/ There are other threads using the Scarebird kit..... Here are a couple rear axle charts that have been posted before....
  16. Check over at the Garage Journal......there's probably 100's of threads on 'em. http://www.garagejournal.com/
  17. VERY NICE.......I'd like to order a pair of rear fenders for my '38 coupe....probably similar or the same as your '39. Besides, fiberglass is for Corvettes.....and maybe a few others.
  18. If you have the original wiring that isn't too faded (or can be exposed under the cloth loom), here is a chart to determine which wire gauge was used.........http://oldmopar.com/oldmopar/wirecodes.html
  19. What, no fuzzy dice comments?
  20. Looks nice & solid! What brand radiator & any mods to make it fit? Any other plans for it?
  21. The plans is to someday turn the filler neck up 90 degrees and have the cap on the outside of the body just below and to the right of the backlight. - I'm thinking he meant to say "back window", not "backlight"??????
  22. I think the convertible brothers of cars with above the windshield wipers had them below because lack of room above for the motors. Not sure where the switches were though......probably just inside of each motor on the dash.
  23. More than the rest of the forum combined & ALL very useful. Seems you have a pic for everything.
  24. Sounds good, next one is Nov. 9th. Spire's @Lakewood & Willow.....just south of the 405. I think Glory Days Sports Bar in Lakewood on Woodruff just north of Carson has a car thing every Sunday morning & it's less than 5 minutes from Vets Stadium.
  25. VERY NICE!!!!
