11th Annual Clements Tailgate BBQ, in Clements California
pflaming replied to 48Dodger's topic in Mopar Flathead Truck Forum
If you smoke California Weed, a "weed whacker" you may become! At the BBQ they only smoke ribs, hamburgers, and sausages! Tim is very strict on that! -
The master cylinder shown is a 98 Cherokee Wrangler, high profile reservoir. There is a low profile model that I may yet change to. The proportioning valves mount along side the MC. This arrangement is one of the simplest I've seen. I have it on my truck, works great.

Open, closed, zinc, chrome whatever has the correct thread.

Will you make me a set of those panels? That is an impressive example of quality workmanship. Also, I didn't realize the transmission is that far forward. Which transmission is showing?

Theses are considered to be the coldest two stanzas in poetry, by Keats. St. Agnes' Eve—Ah, bitter chill it was! The owl, for all his feathers, was a-cold; The hare limp'd trembling through the frozen grass, And silent was the flock in woolly fold: Numb were the Beadsman's fingers, while he told His rosary, and while his frosted breath, Like pious incense from a censer old, Seem'd taking flight for heaven, without a death, Past the sweet Virgin's picture, while his prayer he saith. His prayer he saith, this patient, holy man; Then takes his lamp, and riseth from his knees, And back returneth, meagre, barefoot, wan, Along the chapel aisle by slow degrees: The sculptur'd dead, on each side, seem to freeze, Emprison'd in black, purgatorial rails: Knights, ladies, praying in dumb orat'ries, He passeth by; and his weak spirit fails To think how they may ache in icy hoods and mails.

1954 dodge royal 500 convertible Pacecar restoraton part 1

Dodgeb4ya, or may be sealed in a concrete time coffin? LOL -
My legs and back are healing so slowly, if at all so that I'm suspending all work on the car for a minimum of 30 days. My knee is pain free but my leg muscles are extremely weak and consequently so is my lower back. It's doesn't seem to be the lifting but the stretching and the contortions that put a lot of sustained stress on legs and back, so a happy new year to all.

Someone is going to buy a beautiful car. WOW! I sometimes think the "build" is more enjoyable than the final result which is also very rewarding experience. -

Just a temporary case of hard stools! No pun intended! LOL

I bought them at Harbor Freight. They push very easily providing the floor is clean. The flat steel casters are easily distracted.

It would be a four hour drive for me, and it is fun to partner up with another MOPAR friend. Did that to Kettleman City a while back.

You don't have to go with 16" rims. I put my stock 15" rims on my Plymouth just last week.
-
That is beautiful work. I may return to my dash and take a picture of yours with me.
-
Stage 2 dash repaint, reattach switches gauges, route and secure. Will lift and install tomorrow. Reinstalling is always more enjoyable that cleaning, repairing, etc. New photo, after viewing my work on photo, I returned and further detailed the wires. This is better.

"Peaky Blinders"??? Never heard that one before. Sound like a blind date term! LOL
-
Neil, consider installing pressure switches on the hood wings and the doors which turn on a shrill, LOUD horn. Sound and light are great deterents. Thieves do not want to be seen nor heard. JMHO

May not be legal where you are, but in the early '70s in Omaha steel studded snow tires were legal. I had my spare as a studded tire and an extra for winter snow, I ran standard tread tires all winter and could switch those back tires on in ten minutes when required. In the worst winter months, it's amazing how seldom snow tires are needed.

Add, secure weight over the rear axle. In Omaha I used 50# bags of sand, try 50, then 100, until it holds the road and has decent traction. An old sheet of plywood and a bolted down 4x4 cross piece will hold that sand where you want it. If ice stops you, you have sand to get going again. Thats what I did .

My 53 Plymouth Suburban has a red/brown .primer. Will be a nice accent when I polish the body out to preserve the original paint.

Doing small but necessary items. While working on electrical I scratched my dash so I pulled, resanded, primered and painted it. Will be very careful when I install it. Nicely polished chrome knobs, etc will liven it up.
