Well Tim, there are my basket case trucks--a '46 and '47 that I got in anticipation of retirement. I have a long list of woodworking projects I have never had the time to do--grandfather clock, etc., I'm never at a loss for projects around the house, ... I figure I have about 25 years of projects, so I guess I should be OK. Probably also do some volunteer work. After many years in Human Resource management it will be great not to have to listen to people ( always said, "Job is great except for the people part of it." :D ). I think the key to a good retirement is to be retiring TO something, not FROM something. I'm definitely retiring TO not FROM. I've always had lots of interests, but never the time to purse them.

Sure are. Both are WCs. One is a stripped cab on a rolling chassis. The other is a is a stripped cab, loose bed and incorrect engine on a chassis. All the rest of the parts are scattered in the garage and 2 storage spots. That is the way I got them. The hard work of taking them apart was done, but not having taken them apart has the disadvantage of not knowing where the parts go and in what sequence it must be assembled.

Don heres what mine looked like when I started. Dad has a WC so I had that to look at plus the shop and parts books. I still did stuff wrong and out of order and ended up redoing many things. I swore off 1/2 done projects and then bought a 1/2 done p15.

Happy Birthday Tim you are now officially one year older than my truck although

I was only 5 when it was built. Hope you enjoy retirement.

I think he's probably always been one year older than your truck. :P

And John, I hope you aren't kidding yourself about all the time you'll have when you retire. I don't believe I've met anyone that's retired that has had any free time, in fact most seem busier than before. :D
