Brent B3B Posted March 20, 2022 Author Report Posted March 20, 2022 Lol, note to self… before you fill up a 550ga tank of water to drive around the neighborhood, make sure the PO didn’t build the custom bed with the “c” channel directly over the rear tires I was so busy looking at the overloads, I didn’t think to check the bed clearance ? As soon as the load shifted, I was stopped! gots to do me a little modification at some point ? 2 Quote

Dodgeb4ya Posted March 21, 2022 Report Posted March 21, 2022 Easy to fix cracked tires... Hatdong tire crack filler... 4 Quote
Merle Coggins Posted March 21, 2022 Report Posted March 21, 2022 ? Or you could do like Burt Munro and fill the cracks with shoe polish. (World's Fasted Indian movie reference) Quote
T120 Posted March 21, 2022 Report Posted March 21, 2022 Fellow I worked with years ago told me as a young man he helped out at a used car lot. One of the jobs he was given was to take a can of Johnson's paste floor wax and apply it to cracked tires on the used cars. Quote
47 dodge 1.5 ton Posted March 23, 2022 Report Posted March 23, 2022 I have used a primer bonding agent that tire shops use for setting the bead. Was also something years ago that you painted on but no longer sold that worked pretty good. I remember filling cracks that my fingers almost fit in. Wish new tires lasted more than 10-15 years!
