A man in the Plymouth I club used to belong to had one in his 1956 Belevidere  Seemed to work well although he only had a few records for it.

Saw that someone has converted one of these to play 45s which gives a more reasonable price and selection of music for it. First saw one of these as a teen in a 50s era Ranchero that had been customized in the 60s alla Barris, the car was metal flake banana yellow....

I saw something similar at a swap meet last year. Made me wonder how they would be going over railroad tracks.

a friend of mine has the record player in his 57 Desoto and it is factory.

When I was a kid Dad had one in a tail finned Desoto, not sure of the year. I remember him talking about the big motor and how fast that car was.

I never had the pleasure of owning a car with a record player.  But my 1956 DeSoto had cool find and lots of power from the Hemi.  I should have NEVER sold that car...  Bummer...  It was a great car.
