Don Coatney Posted July 16, 2015 Report Posted July 16, 2015 Perhaps if PP could explain what he thinks a COE is it would be helpful. Quote
pflaming Posted July 16, 2015 Author Report Posted July 16, 2015 Ops, wrong picture. The yellow dump truck is one of 14 restored snow plow trucks. The V plow and 8' wings weigh 12,000 lbs so the trucks are massive and the lift mechanics as well. They often had a concrete block about the size of a coffin in the box for counter weight. Most of the trucks were Autocar, some were Marshall's. The last pic is the button controls for the tyranny, never seen such before. Very enjoyable to drive around and discover. Quote
pflaming Posted July 17, 2015 Author Report Posted July 17, 2015 Some new sights. Body shop only wants$4500 for the rat rod. TheCheyII panel is possibly a scarce car, found the dodge ad in an old mag. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted July 17, 2015 Report Posted July 17, 2015 not scares enough..... CHEVY II......Benchmarked after the Ford Falcon of whom was its direct competition....the only body styles it didn't offer which the Falcon did were a sedan delivery and coupe utility (the Ford Falcon Ranchero), most likely to avoid competing with Chevrolet's own El Camino Quote
Niel Hoback Posted July 18, 2015 Report Posted July 18, 2015 I'd give more than $4500 to get that out of my drive. Quote
pflaming Posted July 18, 2015 Author Report Posted July 18, 2015 Scenes from the country side in Maine. Beauty is every where just stop the car and look. For me this is so different from my Nebraska cattle ranch roots, so woods and water is very fascinating. What is on the tower and how many? Quote
Don Coatney Posted July 18, 2015 Report Posted July 18, 2015 What is on the tower and how many? I would guess 4180 Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted July 18, 2015 Report Posted July 18, 2015 workers and I would say 8 at minimum..bottom of tower not in picture.. Quote
pflaming Posted July 18, 2015 Author Report Posted July 18, 2015 I believe there are nine, one mostly hid behind another. They are painting the tower. Glenn and my grandson took me to play frisbee golf! Quote
Dan Hiebert Posted July 19, 2015 Report Posted July 19, 2015 ....price of hootch in Maine backwoods. Yep - and not just in the backwoods. That's a pleasant surprise after paying out the nose for the stuff the past 12 years in MI and NY... Quote
Mark D Posted July 21, 2015 Report Posted July 21, 2015 Knocked on his door two weeks ago, no one home on a Friday morning... :/ he's got some stuff I got to get my hands on. Went to Goldenrod, then found the dodge ($14,000), and the coe on the way home on a country road, for whoever, so you can identify the cars. We are fully enjoying 75 degree weather, some humidy, and some Mosquitos in the evenings. image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg Quote

How many unusual ones can you identify and did I pick wisely? Old truck, favorite lobster shack and harbor, Maine old truck friend and his truck. , Edited July 25, 2015 by pflaming Quote
Dave72dt Posted July 26, 2015 Report Posted July 26, 2015 some of what you've got there should be used for looking and talking about only, others are for a specific type of job you'll likely not encounter to often. \oil cans and screwdrivers you can always use, pliers may be worn out or rusted and some others are just poor quality tools that will make the job harder and frustrating. I'll say you did ok, broke even. Quote
