Just curious how high that bumper is to the top of it.  I have no clue how tall you are but assuming the wall girts are 24" OC. it appears the bumper is much taller than my 2.5 ton semi.

To the top of the bumper is 30".....

Yes, bugs are bad drivers. There were a LOT of them that had head on collisions with my truck this past weekend. And some of them are Mini-Soda bugs, Mark. They're not any smarter.

Bob, they're not scratches. May be lint from my polishing rag, or something picked up along the way home. There was a lot of Cottonwood fuzz out this weekend too. I didn't find any deer hair. There was a good smudge on the front bumper, but it wiped clean. She probably smeared some fresh bugs where she made contact.

I think a DNA test is called for on those hairs.. :D

I was just thinking about taking down a few big cottonwoods of my neighbors.

They are so dirty and polluting.

Only times I actually drove my truck were Thursday before the BBQ to get some water and ice and then Sunday afternoon to a friends house for dinner.

Yes it was there on Saturday but I didn't drive it. I drove the Plymouth there.

Well, I'm glad that y'all had a good time at the Back to the Fifties.  I had every intention of going, but things did not go as planned.  My 2 y/o son and I had planned on driving my '46 P15 more door and meeting my dad there.  While still in the shower, my 8 mo. pregnant wife banged on the door and told me that we had to go to St. Cloud NOW.  I asked her to get all that she might need and I would meet her in the car.  I grabbed the 2 y/o out of a deep slumber, got him dressed, strapped into the car seat, and off we went for St. Cloud Hospital.  After ultrasounds, consults, and blood tests, the doctor decided to deliver our newest son, Theodore Lee Powers, 6 weeks early via C-section at 11:03 PM on 6/19/2015.  He was 5# 3oz.  The surgeon determined that my wife was in the early stages of placenta abruptia.  Teddy's been in the NICU due to his preemie status.  Our last hurdle was getting him to eat on his own.  He finally realized yesterday that eating from a gastric tube was like eating at McDonald's (adequate but rather unsatisfying) and eating from Mom was like eating at Old Country Buffet.  They took out his feeding tube this morning and, assuming that he continues to eat and gain weight, he will be coming home on the 4th of July.

Congrats on the addition to the family. I suppose that's an acceptable excuse for missing the show. ;)

At least we got to meet you at Ed's place. By the way,.. the pork was awesome.

Congrats on the new addition to your family! Glad I had a chance to meet you also.  Enjoy them now because before you know it they are all grown up and moved out.
