jrhoads Posted December 27, 2014 Report Posted December 27, 2014 (edited) Question....Has anyone had any issues with timeliness on ordered parts from Wayne "The Plymouth Doctor" ? I have had a toe pan on order for about 2 months, was told it would ship about 1.5 months ago, called him, sent e-mails and still no part. My impression was that he was pretty well sought after for the best replacement parts. I don't doubt that, but am beginning to doubt attention to customer service. I really want to work with Wayne, but am about ready to repair what I have and move on. Not happy.... Edited December 27, 2014 by jrhoads Quote
Don Coatney Posted December 27, 2014 Report Posted December 27, 2014 Once again the Plymouth Doctor has been discussed many times recently about this very subject. Do a forum search and you can find your answer. On another note, jrhoads, on 13 Dec 2014 - 8:01 PM, said: Don... very good thread. thank you. Please PM me, I would like to talk Best Jim I did send you a PM at 8:10 PM on December 13th.You Read the response at 8:07 AM on December 16th but never responded. Quote
plymouthcranbrook Posted December 27, 2014 Report Posted December 27, 2014 I have communicated with him a few times about this and that and always gotten a quick response. Quote

Plymouthy Adams Posted December 27, 2014 Report Posted December 27, 2014 (edited) I think I posted just recently that he answered me on the phone first call..... Edited December 27, 2014 by Plymouthy Adams Quote

suntennis Posted December 28, 2014 Report Posted December 28, 2014 His toe boards are great but his communication is the poor. He claims that he has no control as to when his parts will arrive from whoever makes them. If the parts are in stock, then they will be shipped in a timely manner. I waited close to 3 months for parts ordered plus he took my money the day of the order. Quote
jrhoads Posted December 28, 2014 Author Report Posted December 28, 2014 Suntennis. Thank you. Exactly my experience. I hope he pulls through as I am ready to repair what I have and drive on. Quote

jrhoads Posted December 28, 2014 Author Report Posted December 28, 2014 Yep. Something seems a bit off kilter... Guess I better check my credit card (wifes) statment, cancel or charge back if I have too and repair what I have. What a shame but I have this exact same experience.Something is not good here.... JerseyHarold Posted December 29, 2014 Report Posted December 29, 2014 2015 may be the year that I bite the bullet and get some body work done on my cars. From what I've read, Plymouth Doctor patch panels are supposed to be the best on the market. Whose are the second best? Quote
Frank Elder Posted December 29, 2014 Report Posted December 29, 2014 For the best fit and finish, not to mention low cost I like Umakee panels...... Quote

Jdrew Posted June 16, 2015 Report Posted June 16, 2015 Going thru a bad experience right now with Wayne the Plymouth Doctor...Sent the wrong part, hasn't corrected the order...its been over 45 days. Frustrated as well. Quote
casper50 Posted June 16, 2015 Report Posted June 16, 2015 I was just about to order some floor pans from him. Maybe I'll hold off. Quote
jrhoads Posted June 18, 2015 Author Report Posted June 18, 2015 Yeah its really too bad because his stuff fits perfectly. I wonder who makes his parts? I don't think he makes them. Quote
suntennis Posted June 18, 2015 Report Posted June 18, 2015 When I got some parts (which were bolt pockets for floors) thru Plymouth Doctor a year ago, They came from Kemp's Rod and Restoration, Inc. in Michigan. They are located in Hancock and Iron Mountain with a phone of 906-482-5656. What was sent to me sounds like they can do everything. Quote
deathbound Posted June 19, 2015 Report Posted June 19, 2015 If the Plymouth Doctor was only the middleman, maybe the problem lies with his supplier/fabricator.....Kemp's Rod & Restoration. Anyone can be a middleman......you're only as reliable as your supplier (generally speaking). I don't know for a fact Kemp's is the supplier, just going from the above post. Here's their website:http://www.exploringthenorth.com/kemp/rods.html Quote
