One last winter outside---

Photo of my project sitting outside in the snow attached.

It was warm here (Seattle area) on Thanksgiving- 56 degrees while going home in the evening from our daughters place.  Two days later it looked like the North Pole.

Fired up the Fargo today, stretch her legs so to speak.

The road is dry and salt free, went for a drive, and let her warm up good.

Took some pics, very misty, about 28f, then put the old girl back into her bedroom.

No snow here yet this year but we got pretty white the year before last. Today was winter check day including heater valve opening.

That's not as daft an idea as it sounds! The Eurotunnel is only 2ish hours away from me, 45 minutes under the channel then another couple of hours the other side and the Eiffel Tower it is. One very happy if not deaf from the drive wife and a real change of scenery for the Plymouth. Will definitely need to change my pressure plate first though....

i've got pics of my truck in the snow from many years.

here're some from today from a job i'm supervising next to my house.

you've got to look closely in the two pictures - the log truck dwarfs my b-1-f. i picked up a partial load of hardwood chunks for burning next year.

Here's what we call snow in Alabama. So it's only a few inches. It still demonstrates nicely that there's more than one benefit to a sun visor.post-5965-0-54771600-1419288640_thumb.jpgpost-5965-0-51624300-1419288719_thumb.jpg

Does a much more complete job with a whole lot less elbow grease than the van took.

Makes me miserable just looking at the picture...little nippy here this morning..approx. 31 degrees...been out and working in t-shirt since before noon and still quite nice out now..but as soon as the sun falls from the sky..it will drop temp fast...

Tim, approximatly 31? What temp is approximate? Don't have one of those on my thermometerl  It was 28 here on the left coast!  It was a little sharp when I dove into the pool, but after a lap or two one warms up quite nicely. LOL

PP...my temperature gauge is neither calibrated nor in my opinion placed in the correct spot to say that the current temperature at any given time is exact and absolute....but by saying approximately it is close enough to convey to any reasonalbe thinking person what range we are dealing with..and by the way, you were the person who closed shop and retreated to the house this morning....did you finally get out to the shop today?

That's one thing that is nice about a desert, it warms up during the day. Temp now is 60 degrees in the shade. And ye, been in the shop since 7:00 this morning.  Shops warm up when one starts to work, even in GA.

NOw PP..this morning on chat you were on the new computer in the shop...then you stated..to cold even with heater..you going to the house..I said Mrs PP does not want you there..you said she had no choice..so..either you went to the house and she ran you back to the shop or you stayed in the shop and lied to me on chat...now you can't have both..if you going to tell a story..you need to keep it to one version....lol........
