Paul Beard Posted June 16, 2007 Report Posted June 16, 2007 I just checked my title and found out I have owner my B4B for 31 yrs. Never realized that it was so long. I have had a hard time finding parts until I came across this Forum. Quote
Norm's Coupe Posted June 16, 2007 Report Posted June 16, 2007 Paul, Don't feel bad if it's taken you more than 30 years and you're not done with your truck yet. My brother in law has a 36 Ford 3 window coupe he's owned since the mid to late 60's, and it's not completely done yet either. I've had my 48 Plymouth Coupe since June 1995 and it's still a work in progress. Quote
Young Ed Posted June 16, 2007 Report Posted June 16, 2007 My pickup will be 7 years next month and my coupe like 3. Quote
H Suhling Posted June 16, 2007 Report Posted June 16, 2007 I have owned my truck since the late '80's. And started restoreing it in '92. H Suhling Quote
Guest Dave Claussen Posted June 16, 2007 Report Posted June 16, 2007 Someone told me that you're never really "done" with a project, just temporarily short of funds! LOL:) Quote
Dodgeb4ya Posted June 16, 2007 Report Posted June 16, 2007 Have owned my 52 1 ton pickup since 1972. Quote
greg g Posted June 16, 2007 Report Posted June 16, 2007 Got my coupe in 1971. It was just barely an antique at that point. (going by the 25 year rule) Quote
anthonyb Posted June 16, 2007 Report Posted June 16, 2007 Got my 41 Plymouth sedan in 1992 and my 52 B3FA in 2000. Have had several other Mopars before and since then. Quote
TodFitch Posted June 16, 2007 Report Posted June 16, 2007 Got my coupe in 1971. It was just barely an antique at that point. (going by the 25 year rule) Got me beat. I bought my 1933 PD Two Door Sedan in August of 1973. Quote
Merle Coggins Posted June 17, 2007 Report Posted June 17, 2007 Wow, I really feel like a rookie now. I just picked up mine last year on Mother's Day. Merle Quote
Tony_Urwin Posted June 17, 2007 Report Posted June 17, 2007 Bought my first Mopar (a P-15) in 1990. have bought 5 more '40-52 Mopar autos since then, sold three, and just recently bought my first Pilot-House truck. Quote
clay diggs Posted June 17, 2007 Report Posted June 17, 2007 Bought my B2C July 1963.60 T'Bird Jan 1964.47 ply. 2004 Quote
Guest Dave Claussen Posted June 18, 2007 Report Posted June 18, 2007 I bought my B3C in the fall of '05. By the by, it's my first Mopar. I've also had a '54 Chevy Belair 2 door, a '67 GTO, and an early Honda Gold Wing ('76) that I rode to California and back in '77 from northwest Indiana. Never should have sold any of them, hindsight its 20/20. Quote
48Dodger Posted June 18, 2007 Report Posted June 18, 2007 Mopar since birth....43 years....B1B since 2000 Quote
Johnny S Posted June 18, 2007 Report Posted June 18, 2007 Bought my first one in 1967. Still have the title and some major parts of it....doors, trunk lid, stainless, chrome, gauges. The next one in 2004 followed by a parts car in 2005 and "Aunt Margaret" in 2006. So my trail is a combination of early adoption; mid career wannabe but mostly on the bench; and now "in the game". Norm's Coupe Posted June 18, 2007 Report Posted June 18, 2007 Thought we were only talking about current Mopar's owned. If we count all of them, I've owned: From 1961 1960's Owned: 1952 Dodge Coronet 4 door 1965 Dodge Coronet coupe 1967 Chrysler Newport 4 door 1970's Owned: 1978 Dodge Aspen wagon 1980's Owned: 1980 Plymouth Volare Coupe 1983 Plymouth Tourismo (2 of them) 1983 Plymouth Horizon 4 door 1985 Plymouth Tourismo (2 of them) 1987 Plymouth Reliant Sport Coupe 1990's Owned: 1990 Plymouth Sundance Coupe sport package 1990 Dodge Caravan And of course the 48 Plymouth Coupe since 1995, and the only one I have now. So I guess you could say I've had a few Mopar's since I was old enough to drive. Maybe I should go for at least one more for a "Bakers Dozen". Quote
