Interesting enough all the  trucks I have and have used for parts have been green, not by choice but that is what there was.  I was told years ago by a former auto salesman that red was only for Fire Depts, Yellow was for utilities leaving green, black and blue.  Not sure if it was true but made sense.

Mine is blue...no, rusty....no, factory primer....no, bare metal.  Actually, it is In the slow process (for me) of turning blue again.  Our 1951 farm truck was blue with a black bed.  I remember lots of blue and green ones, and the local Dodge truck dealer had a white one.

I consider that I was privileged to have viewed this truck at the BBQ earlier this year (see attached) A beautiful truck and a true credit to BH.

Dad had a '38 red International, a 48 red chevy with chrome grille, a red '53 Ford F100, so the Fire Truck idea is thinly supportable. I do not remember ever seeing a yellow truck, yet dad bought a new Dodge when the slant 6's came out and it was a yellow/tan.

My current truck is 'black and blue'! ! !
