RobertKB
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Plymouth-/230658897144?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item35b45774f8 Actually, based on the front parking lights, it's a '54, not a '53 as mentioned in the ebay listing. This poor old girl looks like it was started and then the owner did not/could not finish it. In my opinion the added fins don't suit the car and by adding the sunroof he has destroyed the abilitly to put in a single piece rounded factory type windshield. Looks like it would have to be two flat pieces of glass like in a P15. Also not sure how the back window could be completed as nothing lines up even if you did cut the factory installed rear window. Too bad the owner butchered a two door hardtop. Just my opinion and as most of you know, I like them stock............but this one really is bad. randroid
Robert, I would think that in this case POS does not refer to Point Of Sale. -Randy
Niel Hoback
Looks like a parts car to me.
desoto1939
Sice they put a sunroof in the car they had to flatten the roof line and they took away the natural curve onthe roof line. This is now just a parts car since they started to chop the car. rich h
Don Coatney
Here is a seller in Hollywood, Florida with a 100% feedback rating selling a car with a sunroof in the sunshine state for a hundred bucks and you guys are bashing him? Looks like the Boo Birds have returned.
Plymouthy Adams
that would make you Alfred H......I think the man is very realistic in his listing..
PatS....
Yup, at least he isn't starting the bids at $15,000! It should go for a fair price and maybe redone properly and won't end up in a shredder.
Plymouthy Adams
that could very well be..the roof will need lots of attention to get the proper flow..the fins..well I am not fond of them but it may be the very thing that trips the buyer's trigger to buy and finish the car..kinda like a hey, I can fix that.. falconvan
I do like the tailfins; moonroof would have to go. Lots of potential, though!
Plymouthy Adams
falconvan likes the fins, just proof positive that it has enough merit that someone somewhere may put this puppy on the road..final cosmetics...anyone's guess..would be great to see if bought and some tracking of the eventual repair and registration for the road
Young Ed
The fins looks quite similar to the 58 dodge posted here recently. Hopefully they arent from one of those. But I could see them looking good with the right trim and paint combo.

Someone had an idea, or inspiration, gotta give em credit for not being afraid to roll up their sleeves and give it a try.
Dan Hiebert
As they say, whatever blows your skirt up. If it weren't for the ones that think outside the box a-la George Barris and his ilk, we wouldn't have the Batmobile (the original one, that is.) BobT-47P15
Well, a person could cut off that top and reolace it with a stock one. Some people seem to try and chop a top but gave no fore thought to the glass.
