1940plymouth Posted August 11, 2010 Report Posted August 11, 2010 Just thinking that it sure would be great if you guys could post some photos of your great old MOPARs while out and about in them, showing off the local scenery, landmarks and such, not to mention the vehicles themselves:) Food for thought, Bob Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted August 11, 2010 Report Posted August 11, 2010 OK........our favorite place to get "spaghetti red" in Joplin, Fred & Red's The only seating is a horseshoe shaped counter. If all seats are full, you simply stand along the wall until someone gets done and a seat becomes available. We usually go there on New Year's Eve afternoon for lunch, in the Plymouth, weather permitting. Quote
Young Ed Posted August 11, 2010 Report Posted August 11, 2010 Two of my favorites. Taken in the same place two years apart. MN side of the river just before entering into Osceola WI. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted August 11, 2010 Report Posted August 11, 2010 Or, this cute little former filling station on Historic Rt 66 in north Joplin....lately a barbershop. (The building is not really as un-level as it appears in this picture. At, least I don't think it is.) Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted August 11, 2010 Report Posted August 11, 2010 Darn, Ed.........you have any larger pictures????? Quote

steveplym Posted August 12, 2010 Report Posted August 12, 2010 (edited) Here's a few. Behind the wheel in So. IL. on a hot evening. Yes those are bugs on the windshield. A dash pic I really like. Parked in front of our church for a fall wedding. In two weeks I will be in New Harmony, IN heading to Evansville for Frog Follies. I've always wanted to get pictures of the car downtown as they have restored old buildings and it is historic. Thought it would be a neat pic. Need to get that done this year. greg g Posted August 12, 2010 Report Posted August 12, 2010 Some where on the web is a website from Japan that allows you to upload pics and treat them to an aging process. It was posted here a year or so ago, might still be out there. Don't know if thats what was used above but there are antiquing sites on the web, not photoshop. Also if you loaded your camera's editing program on your computer, there maybe similar effects applications within their programs. Quote
TodFitch Posted August 12, 2010 Report Posted August 12, 2010 Very nice looking coupe. 34?? 1933 "The new Plymouth 6" (PC). Replaced after only a short production run with the 1933 "DeLuxe 6" (PD) and the 1933 "Standard 6" (PCXX). Quote

LAKOTA169 Posted August 12, 2010 Report Posted August 12, 2010 ^^^^^^^^How did you do that?^^^^^^^^^^^^ I used Microsoft Picture It (ver 7) digital Image Pro. It's an old program. Not as complicated as Photoshop or Elements. The one is just the antique (sepia) filter. The other, I was just playing around with the different filter effects. Quote
