Dave72dt Posted November 12, 2021 Report Posted November 12, 2021 That bed looks a lot like the one Mark just got for TODD Quote
JBNeal Posted November 12, 2021 Report Posted November 12, 2021 I have several other detail pics of that B-1 flatbed and it is a modern unspectacular unit with plastic sidemarkers and a ho-hum square frame...the tada bed has the radiused perimeter steel with the mounts for armored marker lamps with glass lenses, but it has no apparent evidence of pinstriping that was the rage back then.. additional information - vintage flatbed details Quote
JBNeal Posted January 28, 2022 Report Posted January 28, 2022 SURVIVOR: B-1 Panel Truck spotted at that Big Spring Auction, it was quite the fixer upper...saw it getting dragged off when I rolled up to pick up my items, then saw it a few weeks ago on the FB DPETCA page up for sale...anyhow, tried to get pics of the interior but the lighting was terrible...wood floorboards were surprisingly intact... 4 Quote

LOL NAW, just didn't have time to stop and get out of the vehicle. I drive through Hartsel a few times every week, Tuesday I had to actually get off the highway to look at an upcoming job in town. First time in thirty-some years I actually didn't just buzz right through. Next time I go through I'll stop and get some better pictures. If anyone's around I'll get info on it if it's available.
