Charlie Olson Posted May 28, 2010 Report Posted May 28, 2010 Seaplym is Neil Riddle, up in Seattle. He always has ads in the classifieds of the Plymouth Bulletin, the bi-monthly magazine of the POC. Quote
RobertKB Posted May 28, 2010 Report Posted May 28, 2010 Neil is a very decent guy to deal with and will answer questions any time even if not related to what he is selling. His stuff is sometimes kind of pricey but at others times it seems very reasonable. He is good to do business with and really knows his Plymouth info. Quote
michael.warshaw Posted May 28, 2010 Author Report Posted May 28, 2010 ive spoke to him, a few times seems a a relala nice guy compared to some other mopar vendors. Quote
michael.warshaw Posted May 28, 2010 Author Report Posted May 28, 2010 He's the best in my book! i agree. Quote
greg g Posted May 28, 2010 Report Posted May 28, 2010 Awful hard to light those. A very common after market accessory in the 50's ad 60's. Seen a few at swap meets. Norms coupe had one on his car that he got at a meet. Likely for considerably less. Neil stuff is nice usually no question about quality. If he says its good it is. Quote
Flatie46 Posted May 28, 2010 Report Posted May 28, 2010 When I first got my car I planned on removing the hood ornament and filling the seam. My son had a fit, we went back and forth about it for about a year. I could see it meant alot to him so I left it. I'm glad I did, the longer I'm around these cars the more I appreciate the original styling of them. Quote
Robin (UK) Posted May 28, 2010 Report Posted May 28, 2010 The P15 hood ornament's a real work of art. I took this photo last weekend. Quote

mackster Posted May 29, 2010 Report Posted May 29, 2010 NOS aint cheap. if you want cheap buy china made stuff. Seaplym is a great vendor and maybe price at times, but thats why i only get what i think is worth buying at the time....instead of the thread called strikes again..should be... hits a homerun again! Quote
randroid Posted May 29, 2010 Report Posted May 29, 2010 Folks, I've gotten a lot of items trough Neil over the years, including my OD tranny, and I think the world of him. In fact, should anyone ever bad-mouth him I'd be inclined to think the problem lies somewhere other than with MrPlym. -Randy Quote
michael.warshaw Posted May 29, 2010 Author Report Posted May 29, 2010 i love the guy bought many things from him, i think hes the best mopar vendor out there, so many of them think who they are. Quote
dezeldoc Posted May 30, 2010 Report Posted May 30, 2010 And he packs great and ships his parts out fast!! Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted May 30, 2010 Report Posted May 30, 2010 That bullnose strip is definitely different than any I've seen. Most are pretty short....maybe 12 inches or so, basically replace the hood ornament. This one seems to be a combo with the center hood trim. Quote
YukonJack Posted May 31, 2010 Report Posted May 31, 2010 Someone wanted it really bad. Sold for 340.00. To steep for me. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted May 31, 2010 Report Posted May 31, 2010 Did you see a few days ago.....a choke cable with decent knob and a throttle cable.......sold for $110 each?? Quote
Young Ed Posted May 31, 2010 Report Posted May 31, 2010 Norm bought his bullnose from a place that reproduces them. And like the one on ebay they replace the center hood trim too so there isnt a seam Quote
homebrewer Posted May 31, 2010 Report Posted May 31, 2010 Check out Fat Fendered Relics web site. I bought mine from him. It is a full length piece of stainless. Fit like a glove. Good people to deal with also. George Quote
