dezeldoc Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 Oh man check this out! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Plymouth-Other-49-Plymouth-Rat-Rod-ratrod-custom-deluxe-project_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6387QQihZ022QQitemZ350203737252QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW Quote
Cpt.Fred Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 please lord, may i never see his other projects (if this is his "best ever") Quote
Oldguy48 Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 I wanted to offer a reply, but somehow I can't put it into words. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 It sure is hard to describe, all right. Quote
woodscavenger Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 Hrgh, hrgh, hrgh......sounds of dry heaving. Quote
hkestes41 Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 You know, other than the gull-wing doors the lines actually flow fairly well and could make a pretty decent custom with say some candy red over gold paint. Quote
Young Ed Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 I do kinda like the pt front end. would look better with a bigger hood. The doors are icky and the back end doesn't do much for me either Quote
RobertKB Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 Another example of someone who should never have been shown how to use a cutting torch! Quote
Young Ed Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 Would also be better with a little larger windshield and more head room. Would have to cut my head off to sit up straight in that thing. For sure Norm I think I'd need a couch instead of a front seat to fit in that thing Quote
dirty dan Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 It sure is hard to describe, all right. In south Louisiana we'd call that Fugly! Quote
dezeldoc Posted May 19, 2009 Author Report Posted May 19, 2009 At 6'4" 300lbs their ain't no way i could even think of gettin in there! on a twisted note some things would be cool on a lead slead but the gull wing doors no! Quote
PatS.... Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 I like the tail lights. With regular doors, for a full custom, it's OK. Very few "kustoms" are a real improvement over stock. Quote
JIPJOBXX Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 Maybe two small plastic bubble tops over front seatS. Sort of like the original batman car? Quote
billwillard Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 Like it or not you can't say he doesn't have emanation and talant. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 it be for short people by looking as I said earlier..now that I am able to see all the pictures..that is a ton of work for the buy it now price regardless if you like all the features or not..this would be a classic example of not being able to cre-coop your time and money, and for any of you folks that have tried your hand at a small mod..this baby here would eat the average joe blow for lunch for what he has had to work out..how much bondo and where..anyone's guess..usually the drawback on these vehicles.. T120 Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 Not that I'll get a chance - but it's interesting enough,I'd like to see it up close Quote
steveplym Posted May 20, 2009 Report Posted May 20, 2009 Looks like a PT Cruiser swallowed a '49 Plymouth. That's all I could come up with. Quote
Frank Elder Posted May 20, 2009 Report Posted May 20, 2009 The front end of the pt cruiser is nice and rounded, the square hood opening really detracts from it.... Quote
dezeldoc Posted May 21, 2009 Author Report Posted May 21, 2009 well he decided to change the auction! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=350204521559 Quote
radioguy7 Posted May 21, 2009 Report Posted May 21, 2009 The front end of the pt cruiser is nice and rounded, the square hood opening really detracts from it.... Yeah I agree, doesn't do anything for me, weird mix that has no flow to it. Quote
