    Exactly... This is why I scratched my head on the pushrod bearing reference. I was questioning the meaning and wanted to know what exactly he meant by it. The term "pushrod bearing" did not originate from me, just in case some folks have misread something here....

    I remember the Keihin, non CV Carb! Those things leaked! They would not seal well at the needle and seat, causing the cylinders to fill up with gas if the petcock wasn't shut off. Yeah, I scrapped a lot of those in favor of a quality S&S carburetor. I ran a Super G on my last one, worked really well.

    Hello 48D, I wasn't aware of the chat option here. How do I get ahold of you Tim? I was so busy being distracted by my kids at your BBQ, that I really didn't get an opportunity to speak with you. We both build vehicles, and I really hope that we can build a relationship between us. Or at the least, share the trials and tribulations of building machinery... LOL I hope to hear back from you.

    Congrats Ed! I seem to try to add another truck to our addition to pass along to our little ones(at least that's what I tell my wife! LOL). I think that in another year, the misses may be ready for #3... Oh my..

    When I owned my 1959, I want to say that I replaced one of mine with the Jeep one you shown. It looked identical in appearance. But this was 17 years ago... I may not be 100% correct.

    1938's are RC.... I own these trucks 1936-1939.

    About 7 years ago, I put a brand new master cylinder on a 1949 Power Wagon that I restored. The pedal would slowly go to the floor. I pulled it and dismantled it and realized that this thing was made in Taiwan. Feeling disappointed, I sleeved the original master cylinder with a bronze sleeve and rebuilt it. Problem solved! I hope this helps...

    I am thinking that pushrods bearing may be the same as a connecting rod bearing. I just wanted to know if the connecting rods can be also called push rods. Just a term that has a different meaning in an over head valve engine.

    Yeah, the Knuckles, and Pans should have had these SU carbs from the factory! The Shovelhead and Evolution engines love the CV Carbs...

    Pushrod bearings? Is that another term for Connecting Rod that I haven't heard of? Is the "P" head truly anything special? I read the joking statements involving this cylinder head, but I honestly am not familiar with it. Any schooling will be greatly appreciated.

    If it's negotiable, the head and intake arrangement would be neat to have. Shipping would over price the deal for myself. If I had deep pockets, I would buy it. But I don't.... Sigh

    Too bad it is across the pond... That engine looks so awesome! It definitely would be a great conversation piece. I wonder how well the head heat transfers? I have never seen a cylinder head made of that material.
