  1. If memory serves me correct, Tom Joad used a belt on one of the bearings in the Hudson that they were driving from Oklahoma to California in "Grapes of Wrath" during the depression. I know it is just a novel, but a darn good one Chris I read you blog, very interesting, thanks for that and the photos
  2. Like the heading says, today is Cooper's seventh birthday, must admit I surely have enjoyed our time together with and without the "Wayback Machine"

  8. I have a good friend that just recently bought a 1948 Dodge coupe, he is unable to find the fuse for the headlights. I sent him the schematic for my car, still no help. Does someone have a copy of the schematic they can scan? Isn't there a fuse in or near the headlight switch itself? Thanks, Bob

  15. Have fun Joe, I wish you a safe trip. Port Jervis is an hour southeast of and Kingston is an hour northeast of me. I have many miles on Rt 44 from Poughkeepsie to the Conn line in the '70's as my first wife was from the northwest corner of CT You will drive that old Plymouth thru some beautiful scenery. I hope you have the batteries charged in your camera. If I read your post correctly, you are driving 209 from Port Jervis to Kingston, If you call me at 845-985-0206 when you get to Wurtsboro, I can meet you in Napanoch at the diner there in town if you are interested.
