  1. can you guys help me out with the Year and Make of this car. It was in some old photos of a friend of mine Thanks, Bob
  2. On the way home after the cruise in. Not the most direct route, but a nice drive on some very back roads
  3. Thanks for the ride Fred. No video, but I was out to our first cruise in last evening, Short notice, but a few of us showed up
  4. I did something this year that I haven't done since 1999, I registered the Plymouth to take to Rhinebeck this year. In 1999 My Father and I drove it over there and that was the one and only time. I was wondering if anyone from this forum was planning on being there. Since I belong to the Plymouth Owner's Club, we will be grouped together on the infield by the grandstands. You don't have to be a club member to join us. It sure would be nice to great and meet more of you on Sunday May 8th
  5. This past Sunday up near the northwestern border of Sullivan and Ulster County NY. In the township of Hardenberg
  6. The town has a wingman in each truck that operates both the plow and wing. Makes it much easier on the driver as he doesn't have to operate either as the controls for both the plow and wing are located on the passenber side of the cab off of the dash and floor. As far as the woods go, that is a price we have to pay for living in the mountains LOL Wouldn't change it for the life of me. Raining here right now, snow is possible again on Saturday, sure hope not
  7. This past Monday on our route, It takes two and a half hours to complete one round on our route, we had to do it twice on Monday
  8. We got Winter back Saturday night for Sunday as we got called to work. I spent five hours on our Oshkosh plow as a wingman doing our route, then back in at 5am yesterday morning for another five hours, It was a month ago yesterday since we had been called in due to bad roads. On the brighter side, I have enjoyed my Plymouth very much this winter because of the mild winter here in the Catskills of NY
  9. The truck comes home Thursday whether rain snow or sun shining. Ed, If possible, please take lots of photos on the trip back. Be safe and enjoy
  10. Larry. I have a rebuilt 1950 Plymouth engine in it. When we got it in 1988 it had a 1941 Plymouth engine, which finally gave up the ghost a few years ago. I have done body work to her and my son painted her 16 years ago. She is basically stock other than the tires and wheels The paint we used was Rustoleum Teal, and over the course of the past 16 years the paint has aged well and I love the Patina that it now has, along with the scratches and dulled paint.
  11. What a great looking project, thanks so much for sharing. I see you have Vermont plates on her also, how far are you from Rhinebeck, NY? It sure would be great to meet you and see the Plymouth. Rhinebeck has its annual car show May 6-8 at the Dutchess County fair grounds. Any questions you could pm me if interested.
  12. Welcome to the forum, it a great place to learn. Your Dodge looks very solid and I like the idea that you are going to get her safe to drive and leave as is for the time being. If those are Packard Hubcaps, don't discard them, heck, leave then on the car, it would have been done that way years ago. Anyway, good luck with your Dodge
  13. Good luck with your new car and you have come to the right place for information on your car
  14. We had one of four sons here with his family, the other three live too far away. Here is the Easter Bunny with the Guest of Honor
  15. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P003fToTmx0&feature=youtu.be Yesterday Cooper and I went for a ride on our way to Tison's which is located on a dead end dirt road in Ulster County, NY, Some of you members that are local may be aware of this place, Just a nice day to go for a ride in the "Wayback Machine"

  20. Thanks for the ride, believe it or not, no snow here at all, temp was in the 60's the past few days, a good rain yesterday to help clean the roads up. New king pins and upper control arms on the Plymouth this week. Suppose to be nice this weekend, plan on adding up the miles on the Plymouth. Thanks again Fred, Bob
