  1. This photo was taken during the Great Race in '12. The car was located in Western NY when the photo was taken, I contacted the company on the door, but never received a reply. Do any of you that live in the western part of NY ever recall seeing this? It would be interesting to know the "Rest of the Story"
  2. Although it says Ford on the front hood, it was sold as a Worthington. It was given to my son the Spring before he went in the Air Force in '00. It was used by the Watershed of NYC to mow the grass on both the Neversink and Rondout Reservoirs. As far as we could find out at the time, it was a 1953 Jubilee
  3. Viet Nam War veteran ,USAF Dec '68 to Dec '72, but not Viet Nam Veteran.
  4. You driving it up to Rhinebeck in May?. It would be nice to meet you and see the wagon
  5. You are to be commended, looks good
  6. This is really a good show, hot rods on Saturday, antiques on Sunday, flea market on all three days Held at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck, approx. ten miles from Kingston, NY on the other side of the Hudson River
  7. Here is a photo that I took at Rhinebeck two years ago
  8. Mark, you might want to let everyone know that the Plymouths usually gather in front of the grandstands
  9. Shane, Adele and I plan on being there on Sunday, although the Plymouth will stay home
  10. Cooper and I fired up the Plymouth and added just over ten miles to her. Just a nice day to do so. I know there are plenty of purists out there that would shudder with the thought of having their cars out, but after surviving two heart attacks and throat cancer treatments all in an eight month period, got to enjoy them while you can. I hope everyone is having as good a day as Cooper and I are
  11. Oh wow Robin that link is great. I got a nice email from the girl at Brewster saying there was no record of a Glass topped Dodge, but they had a fleet of new 1946 Ford Busses. I sent that link to her, maybe she will be able to find out more info.
  12. Bob, I did the same, it will be interesting to see what happens
  13. I was able to read that part also, I was wondering what state or province.
  14. Can anyone read the plate? Sure would be interesting to know the location. which would make more detective work possible
  15. Although not a Chrysler, here is another airport limo
  16. No Moose, but we have our share of deer. I took this photo out the window on the Oshkosh about a month ago. What did you think of Alaska? I was in Anchorage for just over a month in early 1970, you could still see remnants of the earth quake from 1964. The rest of 1970 was spent in a Radar Site 200 miles north of the Artic Circle.
  17. My ride this time of year, I operate both the plow and wing, and oh yes, we had fling some snow, but we never go 45-50 mph, more like 25-30 mph which at times can be too fast
  18. Niel, my Buick is grey from all the salt, it is actually tan in color LOL. I have to admit though, I do like that Buick very much
  19. We had a good six inches of snow Saturday into Sunday with strong winds and blowing snow all day yesterday. Just wanted to share these photos that I took earlier today
  20. I like the "air boat" Is it a Kaiser or Frazier I wonder?
  21. Mark, Do you know any of the history on this Plymouth? Do you mind if I share it?
