  1. found a piece of mine in a box. I also found a drawing in the parts book.
  2. Yes please. I'll make one if I can see what it looks like.
  3. what link? I had to edit. Somehow the link popped up from the last time I started a topic. Auto fill I guess. I have ordered the sill mats from Dennis Bickford in New Mexico. Expensive but they are correctly made and should shut the door on the sill mats.
  4. My glovebox door fits really well after much adjustment. The problem is when I push in the release button I can't get the door to fall open as I have to put pressure on the button to make it release. If I use the key to pull after pushing the button it comes open. Seems to me that there should be a spring to help it open or something.
  5. hire a skinny teenager. They will get back there and have the strength to remove them. They could most likely use a few bucks as well. I'm 60 years old, 6' 1" and weight 190 and crawled between the ones on my 47 coupe
  6. you can have am/fm, bluetooth and Ipod conections added to the original radio. Many people do it.
  7. my build card for my 47 has "spec. tires" in that column
  8. for my 47 dodge i went with scarebird. smaller pattern but no tapping.
  9. resembles a brain
  10. yes diffenately takes 2 people, at least 4 hands are needed in places. My coupe wasn't bad at all. Don't know if I'd want to do a 4 door sedan.
  11. my 47 has a 2 piece front gravel shield. It doesn't look like that though.
  12. my 47 is 3 piece
  13. As above. the rear bottom needs that wire sewn into it. Make a pocket for it.
  14. You can ask moose to move the collector a bit.
  15. close examination of the head bolts might tell you if it has. If they have burrs on them it most likely has. If not it doesn't point one way or the other.
  16. If it's like Dodge the VIN number is on the engine and the frame, on the frame hump left side rear. Numbers on plates are just body numbers.
  17. I've always just clicked on the blue dot on the left of the posts. It's always worked for me.
  18. Finally got the rear bumper wrapped. Here's some of the lessons that I've learned. 1. Never use cheap vinyl. 2. Either grow 2 more arms and hands or find a good helper. 3. Find some way to secure the object from moving around. 4. Last but not least, find someone that does it for a living and will do it on the side cheaper than a buisness. I actually went to the only place around that does vinyl wrap and since it's the only place for 150 miles they wanted $750 to do it.
  19. An old wife's tale that people get grumpier as they age. We just have had our fill of BS and stupidity and no longer care to engage the filter between our brain and our mouth. lol
  20. I used Rhode Island wiring. Easy install.
  21. you're welcome.
  22. there's a pair on ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/1946-1947-1948-1949-1950-1951-1952-Chrysler-Arm-Rest-Mopar-Dodge-PLymouth-DeSoto-/112397571880?hash=item1a2b6ad728:g:g5gAAOSwWiBY~kAP&vxp=mtr
