Bob I'm trying to fill the letters with white. I've already buffed the knobs out.

Anyone have tips on how to refresh the white paint that is inside the letters on the dash knobs? Tried the spray and wipe method but the paint was dragged out. Do I need to let it dry and then remove it from the knob surface?

vacuum wipers. I got rid of mine and put in chrysler electric. I hate vacuum wipers. -

Bingo. Vacuum wiper motor bracket. SInce I changed mine to electric I guess I won't be needing this. Thanks.

Down to the last few parts to put on and I can't remember this one at all. Anyone recognize it? My guess would be under the dash somewhere.

they are suppose to be put in with a special tool. A member here loaned me his when I did mine. I'll pm you his name if you want it.

Most of the dash is wired and everything is fitted for now. Radio/speaker needs to come out to be fixed in a week or so. I am going to try and make the mount for the turn signal indicator lights and I also need to fabricate the light sockets and covers.

I've shipped lots of fragile stuff over the years. I'd want a larger box so that there would be much more cushion completely around the glass. The next to the last photo looks as if there will not be much cushion on the top and bottom of the box.
