  6. The photo of the truck is beautiful, l lived a short while north of Barstow at Fort Irwin and many years in San Berdoo. The Mojave desert was always a great adventure.

  9. Shortly after that photo was taken the furncae cleaning bag mysteriously disappeared and this was seen around town.

  15. My B4B has the crank bolt and a spare engine I got from a B3B has it also. No hand crank though.

Removing the next to the bottom leaf all around is a start, next reverse the spring eyes on the front spring then replace the stock shackle (4") on the rear with a shorter jeep shackle (2.75") and flip it. Now cue up the "Deliverence" music and in my best country twang, "You makin some kinda city truck son?" Welcome to the forum. Gary
  18. a piece of 1/2" x 1/8" flat stock 36" long with a hook ground in the end to engage the slots in the WDT and slide hammer will do it. It just needs to be budged loose. Easy, right?
  19. The primary risk is you can't compress a liquid (water) but you can compress a gas (steam).
  20. So Paul, are you saying too much patina can be a bad thing?
  21. I believe the cap is vented to let air in the tank as fuel is drawn off and normalize the negative internal pressure.
  22. Here is a photo of mine with the bed reinstalled. Will be removing it to complete refinishing the wood. Also working on hooking up the e-brake cables to the original handle under the dash and continue the rewiring job.
