  1. Mine is going to a car show at a church in town. Live band, BBQ and swap meet!
  2. I removed the brackets off the old rad and used those to bolt on the aluminum one. Others on this site are using the same rad, seems to work fine with a slight modification of removing the downward angled portion of the top hose connection. I would also recommend taking out the freeze plugs, flushing it out and checking / replacing the water distribution tube ( cue up the Jaws theme ). If your truck is a 1 ton it should be a B3D.
  3. I got mine here. http://www.ebay.com/itm/47-48-49-Plymouth-Coupe-Champion-3-Row-Aluminum-Radiator-CC4749-/162492225181?hash=item25d54a969d:g:6EIAAOSwvbdZAOll&vxp=mtr Not sure if the same for a 1 ton.
  4. Here is the crank, page 5.https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxzO_Oy1EMLIWVFzSHRzNjlOMWs/view
  5. Do a search using "positive crankcase".
  6. Some knucklehead put a jeep shackle on it!
  7. 2. That would be the road draft tube, can be modified to a pcv system. The "unused motor mount" should be your oil pump. I think there is a breaker on the end of the light switch.
  8. It is 555003. I believe it's an RV shock. Seems to ride fine. Look toward the bottom of the Monroe shock spec list.
  9. Mine's been lowered about 6" all around so I have 555003 on the front and 5752 on the rears. The rear mount on the frame was moved back and up so the shock is more upright.
  10. Get out the WD40, that's close enough. Mine were like that and fit fine.
  11. Are you sure the proportioning valve is installed correctly?
  12. This should help. http://www.monroe.com/downloads/install-instructions-guides/MonroeMountingLengthSpecifications.pdf
  13. How about a photo (close up) of the decal on the oil filter.
  14. Photo of the carb? Fairly simple fix on the vacuum line with a flaring tool and a new length of line.
  15. After 60+ years with the driver and fuel tank on the same side she leans just a wee little bit.
  16. Mean old Mister Gravity takes its toll on those springs Paul, dry or not.
  17. I replaced my front springs with McVeigh's also and was quite pleased. Will eventually use them for my rears.
  18. I'm really liking that yellow one! How did it do on the trip there and back?
  19. Photo of master cylinder?
  20. I'm interested in this swap for my truck. What vehicle is the A833 trans from?
  21. The water distribution tube could also be part of the problem.
  22. It helps to really slather on the grease when you put them together.
  23. It is also easier to put the shackle on the spring before you put the spring on the truck
