  1. . That looks how guys from Nevada handle dopey drivers
  2. Would it be impractical to run the fuel line over the transmission and down the passenger side to the fuel pump? Has anyone done this?
  3. Give me a P, give me an A, give me a T, give me an I, give me an N, uh Alex I'd like to buy a vowel, give me an A. What's that spell?
  4. The crease would show where it wraps around the side and I believe the bed is the same from the pre '48 trucks.
  5. I think the photo or truck has been modified/altered. There is no vent window on the drivers door but one on the passenger side, the shading shows the roll of the sheet metal under the rear window but not on the body line, also a slight line at the lower cab indents may be a scratch or fold on the photo. The light source and clarity of the images of the children seems inconsistent. More photos?
  6. Except for the windshield all my glass is tempered. You have plenty of options with colors.
  7. You can get tubas made from brass also, but don't confuse the two.
  8. I used them on the rear axle on mine. I believe they are 2.75" on center vs 4" for the stock ones. Worked fine for me. Lowered the ride height less than 1"
  9. You might check your rings, I don't think it's supposed to smoke like that.
  10. I found a carter inline glass bowl filter on ebay
  11. A shop that rebuilds alternators or generators can take care of the starter
  12. I put the fuzzy strip on both sides of the window instead of using the rubber bumpers and then installed the glass but that is w/o vent windows. may be different with them.
  13. I did mine a while ago and I think that's right, disconnect rollers in track, rotate window 90 degrees, remove through top of door, remove regulator through access panel. Also w/o vent windows.
  14. Go to http://www.crlaurence.com/crlapps/showline/offerpage.aspx?Productid=3300&GroupID=1677&History=39324:1497:1507&ModelID=1677 Type 720 into search for glass setting tape. 1/16" should be the right size. Use window cleaner as a lubricant on the glass and on the rail. Rail can be crimped slightly before install if it seems loose on glass. Rubber side of tape goes toward glass, cloth side toward rail. Good luck, Gary
  15. At this point I won't be pulling the bearing caps. Thanks
  16. Can anyone give me some help as to what these are and how they install on the motor. I dropped the oil pan because I wasn't getting oil pressure, cleaned out the sludge, reinstalled oil pan. I am now getting oil pressure when I crank the motor. Checked the manual but don't see a reference for these. B4B 218 Thanks
  17. Here is a chart that should help . http://www.moog-suspension-parts.com/Universal_Outer_Tie_Rod_Ends.asp
  18. That looks like it ought to be on Paul's truck.
