  1. If you get locked out just email info@p15-d24.com with the new info and I can update in the admin center.
  2. IPS (the forum software vendor) is now strongly recommending disabling username log ins and using the registration email instead. Because the usernames are publicly exposed they become a security risk. This login change will be implemented with the new year starting on the first. Your username will still be displayed after logging in. If you have forgotten your registration email go to Settings - Account Setting under your username in the upper right hand corner. Also if you registered with an email address you no longer use this is a good time to update to your current email.
  3. You are at 99% of your image storage quota. The site provides a complimentary amount to encourage including images with posts. However disk storage cost money and is not unlimited. In fact I don't know of any forum site that provides any free image storage. Solution Is to post your images on external storage site and use the Link function so they appear in the thread. Also usually your ISP provided you a personal web server and disk space where you can storage images as part of your ISP package and again use the Link function. On a side note one of the reason for trying the new awards systems earlier this week was members could earn "benefits" based on activity, like an active member would get additional storage space. However everyone pretty much pissed on that plan, so it's on hold. If you try to set up another account usually it will be stopped due to a duplicate IP address.
  4. Been my experience a bog off idle is running too rich. Try running without the air cleaner for a test. For another test try plugging the distributor and carb vacuum ports to rule out a vacuum leak.
  5. Hey all, sorry about the confusion caused by the new badge/rewards system. In the past when IPS rolled out a new features by default they were turned off which gave me time to review the documentation and set up in detail. Apparently not this time. I will be going through the docs to see if I can revert to the previous set up but no promises.
  6. It reset during the upgrade as part or a new feature to be implemented. Sorry for the confusion,
  7. I think the slowness was caused by the database with all the threads needed to be manually re-indexed. I had already contacted both IPS and the ISP about the performance. The ISP is still investigating but it seems to have improved as the day goes by which I think is the result of the indexing. I'll give it a day and look again if it is still an issue.
  8. This update was primarily a set of security updates and several new features. The new features will be rolled out in the near future as so as I have have a chance to review the setup documentation. If you see any new weird behavior please report it to info@p15-d24.com
  9. in the Support section. First, don't register again with a new account. Couple things to remember: After five failed tries your account is automatically locked. This is a security feature to prevent hacker attacks. If you use the password recovery/reset function it sends the password to your registration email address. If you don't use or own that address any more you will never see it. Be sure to l check your spam/junk folder for the password reset message. Since it coming from a "new" email address it may be mistakenly flagged as spam. If you still can't get in send an email to info@p15-d24.com. BE SURE TO INCLUDE YOUR USERNAME AND ORIGINAL REGISTRATION EMAIL ADDRESS! That way I can identify and verify you are the owner of the account. With that info I can unlock your account and reset the password, then email you a temp password which you can change after you get logged back in. Also strongly suggest you set up the additional security question for you account.
  10. Good post! First I have selected ad "types" that should be of interest to this specific audience. However as your post noted those will be over-ridden based on the way FB and Google Adsense works.
  11. Forgot to mention the boat and trailer were around 2,000 pounds total.
  12. So I have towed one of my boats up to Huntington Lake for regattas twice. The lake is at 7,200 feet and close to a 600 mile round trip. The weather was really hot once I moved inland, 95-105 degree range. Ran around 60 mph on the flat areas but the grades were slow and painful especially in the heat. Never overheated but got pretty close a couple times and just pulled over and let it cool down. Brakes were a little dicey in a couple spots, but using engine braking helps mitigate the issue. But I never got left sitting on the roadside waiting for tow truck.
  13. Yeah, your account got automatically locked after five attempts with the wrong password. I would also change your email password for your gmail account. The log shows someone attempted to get in probably using your gmail address. Past experience shows that means the email account has probably been compromised. Agree with Tod, use different passwords for all your accounts and a password manager to be able to deal with them.
  14. Thanks for reporting. You can always use info@p15-d24.com to report anything. Think I fixed the setting that allowed the Guest account to post.
  15. First, with that many pics you should start you own Gallery. Click on the Gallery link in he header nav bar. Once in the Gallery you can use them in you posts.
  16. Looks like something to be used in a trade show.
  17. If they are still showing up here you should be able to right click on the image and download it to your local computer.
  18. Hey if you want to go fishing and see if your parts have any value, BUY A CLASSIFIED FOR SALE AD for $4.99 ! We don't have many rules (No political, religious topics and ads belong in the Classified section.) That's It! At the top of every forum is a big reminder about posting ads and to use the Classified section for ads. It's not fair the moderators have waste time to deal with this stuff so don't do it.
  19. If you car is a daily driver Dot 3 will work fine. If it is an occasional weekend driver switch to Dot 5 and you brake jobs will last a lot longer. When Dot 3 brakes sit they tend to have corrision issues, like rust and leaks in the wheel cylinders. Remember if you switch to Dot 5 you really need to switch out everything with rubber and flush steel lines.
  20. I think I have some left. PM so I don't forget.
  21. I started a while back trying to bring some of the content over with Bob's approval. However I didn't have direct access to the source files and the browser used for displaying the image files appears to downsample the images quite a bit. The result was a very poor render of the image files and I stopped. I do think would be a great idea to get all the content moved over so it doesn't vanish forever and I would be more that happy to roll it into this site. I haven't communicated with Bob in years but if some of you have maybe contact him and see if he would be agreeable to moving the. entire site at some point.
  22. Is the noise coming from the clutch area or pedal area?
