  1. Keith, The Plymouth looks pretty good. I'm curious as to the difficulty in getting the Out of Province inspection done for registration in B.C. for cars that have sub frame modifications... Here in Alberta, some shops will refuse to accept vehicles with frame modifications. I've had a couple of vehicles that have had the required OOP inspection for registration here in Alberta ,however they were stock...

  8. Keith, You are correct - The Chrysler Ind 313 in the manual I have is an OHV V8 engine. You may be on the mark as to it's use, I don't know.The manual is dated June,1960. ?

Tim, I hate to admit it but I also am afflicted with CRS...As far as the QRS designation goes and any relation to the Chrysler Windsor Plant,I have no idea...While I am not into amateur radio, I have met a few fellows through the years who enjoy that as a hobby ,I gather that QRS sent in morse code means, "send more slowly".?

  12. I just can't bring myself to throw this stuff out,they're still serviceable. The multimeter on the left is an Avometer like one I used while in school, centre is a Triplett, and on the right is a Simpson I used when employed by Dept of National Defence... all from years past. ?

  17. While my qualifications as an advocate of all things in moderation might be called into question. And I might also point out,I'm not a health food nut... but I do read labels as to what chemicals I ingest...While I am not a chemist, I gather both ethylene glycol and propylene glycol are sweet to the taste - ethylene glycol is more toxic while propylene glycol is less. I personally avoid both. For those who eat chocolate, propylene glycol is sometimes listed as an ingredient .... I agree with MackTheFinger, perhaps moderation is a good thing. LOL

  21. May be of interest....Bonderizing for rust prevention. I believe all manufacturers now use rust proofing on body sheet metal... This is from a 1947 Nash brochure.
