  1. has anybody tried running their engine on ethanol? the stuff is supposed to be really hard on rubber components, but i dont think we have much of that anyways. i would think it might need different timing, maybe carb jets, etc

  3. bought my kits from autozone, worked fine for me! $15 ordered.
  4. well, if you noticed, the radiator was replaced anyways, so it is a 7LB pressure cap, so it should work when i buy more antifreeze.

  13. i would try to fix it myself, what do you have to lose? A: welding fails, you are down one manifold B: dont fix, you are down one manifold C: welding works, you have a butt-ugly manifold that works
  14. did you modify this at all, or is it stock? when i finished repairing mine, it did the same thing because the tube that moves the needle moved when i soldered it all back together.

  16. what does one do to mend the play in these larger diffs? my big 41' has it bad...
  17. i use Gmail frequently, and mine is still perfectly fine. now, back to chrome, we started using it a month or two ago because firefox was going just painfully slow, even though the computer is clean and whatnot, but chrome works fine for us!

  19. we used my father's ? 03' yukon to haul mine the 250 miles home, down the freeway with no problems, 75MPH with 11MPG! mine is a 1/2 tonner, though, weighs 3600 by the book. you should have no problems!

  21. i would think 2-stroke oil would do better, and may actually do something, as it does smell nice when burned... catalytic perverter. nice.
  22. yeah, give soldering a shot, like in the post. i did that with the 53' and it works perfectly! much better than the crappy aftermarket job...

  25. that does look cool! it has an odd look that a combination of other colored parts and father time made perfect!
