  1. well, I could remove the old studs from the hub and put studs through the adapter with nuts on the inside to bolt ot the hub, then have studs facing out for the new wheel. It's not meant for looks, mainly functionality and replacability. my current rims look like this and scare the hell outa me every time i have to fill em'
  2. Has anybody successfully swapped newer model 22.5 wheels onto their large truck? the 1.5T could use some new wheels, and normal daytons and 10 luggers are plentiful and fit the bill, just need adapters. I was going to make some round adapters to the 10x11.25 pattern, but the hole in the middle interferes with the stock bolt pattern!
  3. AND WE HAVE A WINNER! that looks like a 1.5-2.5 tonner with a shortened frame?
  4. it was more along the lines of civilian, 1.5T plus, 1940-41, 46-47. it looked similar to my WF-32 1.5T.
  5. I need help finding an old picture somebody posted on here awhile back. there was a w-series dodge truck with a logging setup, fully loaded. it was a black and white pic, and i cannot seem to find it again! thanks, josh.

  7. well, as long as they are front springs, sure. just got back from getting one tone springs for the back, thought i could interchange the backs to the front and use the on tons in the back, but thats wrong:mad:. so if i use 3/4 springs up front, no big deal.
  8. I think that the 218/230 pistons are the same, but the crank and con rods are different. anybody back me up? it may have a slightly different cam, too.
  9. Hi guys, upon trying to install my leaf springs, i heard a nice "POP", but continued working. five minutes later, i looked at the spring, and the primary one has a nice crack right is the middle! there was a 48' one tonner at the junkyard that i was thinkin of grabbing the springs from (if that works) but if that doesnt, does anybody have any spares or a good place to get new ones? the broken one is the front driver side, seven leaf on the half tonner. thanks! josh
  10. I am debating a t-5 transmission swap, and the search feature is unhelpful for this! would somebody mind giving me a breakdown of a T-5 swap for a 53' half tonner? thanks! Josh
  11. i wonder, how do the triple grille guards rank in this?
  12. I was rompin around in the woods and saw something shiny about 100' off the trail, turned out to be what is now my 41' flatbed. ironically, i didnt actually get it till after i got the 53',but i always called it mine.
  13. torch and a hammer is all i could think of, but that may comprimise the strength of it.

  20. alright then, next time i run down there i will grab it for you. would you like the whole heater control bracket? the one with 4 holes for controls, there is the fan switch and a control cable, but thats it. model 61 heater, yard wants $52 plus core if you are interested.
  21. well, there was an air cable for a heater, but it was siezed beyond repair. as for choke and throttle, I will be needing those for my truck(s)
  22. sorry, no horn ring which lights are you referring to? if you are referring to the elevation lights off the top of the cab, i couldn't resist but get them myself! I didnt see any fog lights on it.
  23. hi everybody, its been awhile since i posted about the 41', but does anybody know the size of inner rear axle nut on a 1.5 tonner, WF-32. its either 3.125 or 3.250, but I dont know for now. any help is appreciated!
