the question of using a 12 volt relay in a 6 volt circut.....clamping force for the output contact is you main concern to prevent early burn out due to light contact and possible overdraw of current and thermal runaway. So you have to make the call yourself. we have one huge solar farm near us.....when completed and reported as now complete...2500 acres large with a huge lambing facility on site for the sheep mowers. Bet this is a setback on output right now. I had to clear the snow off the satellite dish this morning....oh well, just a minor setback and while it is melting today to some degree.....due to the sun and not ambient temps, just punched past freezing a few minutes ago as we hit 33. I feel the roads will be icy yet in places tonight after the sun goes down. Our street is now clear and appears dry. Never lasts long when it snows but this is the largest accumulation that I can recall since the early 80's. Got no place I need to be so enjoying some coffee and catching up with some communications with friends and family.

how much voltage are the solar panel putting out today? Looks like about the same amount of snow we got here in middle Georgia. About all I have accomplished today was to trek out and make sure the little birds are well fed for the day.

I make snow women....complete with snow cones....mums thinks its offensive.....lol I went back out a bit ago....wow did it snow while I was goofing off indoors....we have about 4 inches of snow on the ground. While I admit it is different and snow hides a world of sins.....it is fleeting and we left with the mess in the long run. While I have no need to go out for anything, I will sit back, drink my coffee and look ugly, two things I excel at.

good for you the warming trend...not really going to see that for about another 4-5 days as predicted.....my grandkids are having a blast....no school (south has no way to deal with snow) and my son came and borrowed the sled to pull the kids around on....they having fun for sure.

time to move a bit further south I am thinking...4th snow in 30 years.....that is 4 too many

yeah you can big guy, it's called catching up on all the things that did not get done because of the stroke....blew right over the IWOYTD, works for me......to make up for it you need to have a IWOYT weekend.....kinda like when you run a red light, you make up for it by stopping twice at the next one.

I am thinking these older tubing gland nuts was 1/16 pipe thread.....you should be able to snag these locally from a hardware store, check in their tubing fittings usually in a plastic display case.

many rear gears are offset and is not a problem to deal with at all....is it invasive, yes to a degree but not at all that difficult to do at home and likelihood of doing a retrofit without body mods is slim. You get out only that you wish to introduce. This is the modified floor section on my 48 business coupe to allow for a wider tunnel for the driveshaft. Photo taken right after welding and primer applied. While I did not install rear disc, I do have fully functional ABS brakes in conjunction with my 12.1 rotors up front. These brakes are amazing on this car.

search does not reveal an event that that took place that I could find entries for the year 2024....and I can account for every day for the entire month of my activites....I kept looking for it to be announced.....stayed quite busy in May 2024, lots done around the house and one short road trip included.

Many things today are not serviced with a complete manual or for that matter, any true to life specifications. Glad you got this figured out. These heaters are super efficient units.

No one said it was a walk in the park but yet..it is also not hard if you think outside the box a bit with a bushing in the distributor hole to maintain centric alignment when spinning the pump with the priming shaft also one will make from round stock.

there is the slot for the distributor that is driven by the gear that is in turn driven by the cam....so in a stationary engine, the shaft is turned via the slot and thus effectively pump oil.

I think you will find you will need to drop the headliner to remove/replace the wiring as I recall mine was routed and fixed in a fashion one just cannot tug on it and get it removed. As this is old and easy frayed and insulation gets broken off the wires...you wish not to jiggle and jerk on these. Other than the B-post wiring you will have to address if you wish the overhead lighting switch to work.....simple to run new harness from below the floor as is modern vehicles.
