  2. We had a great show this past weekend. While there were over 500 vehicals this work of art was my favorite. It was fresh from a total restoration and has spent its life in one family. The owner lives in MS. Hopefully he will be joining this group.

  4. Not that I want to encourage "poaching" of our survivor vehicles here in Canada by our southern neighbours, but $25000 Canadian is about $18700 USD at current exchange rates ...

  5. Thank you. I was trying to figure out if I could put a pin fit shank bolt and nut on it. I was planning to just repair the pump I took off as it is less than a year old, and obviously a design flaw. It was just a little embarrassing as this is the third time I've seen this girl, and I'm pretty new again at the dating thing. But I guess I'm proving my chops as being able to fix things

  6. What is wrong with your axle that it needs to be replaced? Or did you just figure out that it is OK and the bend in the middle is normal? If the toe is off you need to adjust the tie rod, not the drag link. Oh... and the drag link should be bent too, but the tie rod should be straight.

  13. first...what is the transmission in Chrysler....is it is a clunk-o-matic....or a stock 3 speed gearbox connected to a fluid drive unit? GL4 should not be used in a tranny due to the additives.....However GL4 is a hypoid oil for rear axles....I think GL5 would suit you better. If you have a standard tranny and or tranny with an OD then GL1 is your animal

  15. I fully understand Paul. One of the reasons that I finished all my house projects that we could think of before I started on my 47. The wife has decided that when I finish mine I would need another project, so she bought herself a 55 Pontiac wagon. Work is never done.

  17. BigDaddyO, Did you know there also is a coved bridge in Hamden, just below Delhi? Before the weather changes much more, you may want to take a ride to see it with your bike. I would post a few photos, but my allotment of photos is used up on this forum.
