Sniper Posted December 7, 2022 Report Posted December 7, 2022 (edited) I was headed out to work this morning. Lo and behold, but what did I spy? My guess is a 39? Going to have to introduce myself. Edited December 7, 2022 by Sniper 3 Quote

Veemoney Posted December 7, 2022 Report Posted December 7, 2022 Nice when they practically bring it to your front door. I would guess a bit later than 39 but hard to tell from the picture. He put it on the curb like trash so make him an offer quick. 1 Quote

Young Ed Posted December 7, 2022 Report Posted December 7, 2022 From the hood ornaments it's a 41-47. 2 Quote
Dan Hiebert Posted December 7, 2022 Report Posted December 7, 2022 The folks on the truck side would probably nail down the year(s). Dodge trucks are like the cars, several years have such minute changes you almost have to be within a few feet of the truck to tell what it is. I've a friend that has a '46 and a '47 that are exactly alike as far as I can tell. All I can say is I think this is a later '40s model, because of where the headlights are. Quote
Sniper Posted December 7, 2022 Author Report Posted December 7, 2022 Well, it's been moved. It is now in the driveway right in front of the garage. Quote

Yes 39s and 40s have headlights down in the valley of the fender closer to the grill. 39s are bulb and reflector and 40 sealed beam with a parking light on top. They also moved the dodge badge from the grill back to the hood side. 39-40 each have unique grill trims too. I'll stop there ..... 2 Quote
