CO54
Well, it's been a fun 24 hours here in Colorado Springs. Got kicked out of work yesterday at 945, watched the weather fall apart yesterday afternoon, watched neighbors fences get blown over and tossed around like leaves in 8 foot sections. Now back at work 2 hours before needed time to have the drive in be mostly dry roads. I know other parts of the city and especially out east of town in the plains got hammered with snow drifts and closed roads....... Record 97mph wind gusts at the airport only 3 miles from the house, power was out for 2 hours, but we all survived.

Los_Control
We had a little weather ourselves here in west Texas, before the storm moved north to your area. I just got back from the hardware store with a bundle of shingles and assorted roofing supplies. Nothing major, couple shingles blown off, a piece of flashing to replace, will need to glue a few loose shingles down to prevent blowing off in next storm. Glad you made it through ok
kencombs
No snow here, just rain and lots of wind. Nothing like your 97mph stuff though. I think we peaked a 50, sustained at 35. Bad enough that a limb fell from an oak tree and hit my daughters car, while I was driving it to road test a problem. Broken windshield, small roof dent. What are the odds of a 3" x 4 ft limb hitting a car going 35mph down a city street? worse than the lottery scratchers I'll bet, but I never win anything good!
Young Ed
We're getting rain rain rain so all that water along with all the melting snow is giving me about 1.5" of water in my shop!
CO54
We had the rain for 6 hours before the temp dropped yesterday and the snow started flying, so driveway was a skating rink till the sun popped out this morning.
