Plymouthy Adams Posted October 22, 2017 Report Posted October 22, 2017 (edited) I thought hooters always came in pairs....... hooter is the English term for horn by the way.... other than the bracket, they look like horns off a 41 Plymouth Edited October 22, 2017 by Plymouthy Adams 1 1 Quote

1949B-1-C Posted October 22, 2017 Report Posted October 22, 2017 Are the dual horns a rare option? My truck has them and I always thought it was how they all were Quote
Dodgeb4ya Posted October 22, 2017 Author Report Posted October 22, 2017 It is a rare option and they sound nice...much better than the single horn. At least i think so 1 Quote
Merle Coggins Posted October 23, 2017 Report Posted October 23, 2017 (edited) I found a set like that at a swap meet when I was building my truck. The bracket was different, and I had to make up a different bracket to mount them, but I like how they sound. Based on what those sold for I got quite a bargain. I think I paid $20. Jerry Roberts Posted October 26, 2017 Report Posted October 26, 2017 If you are not trying to stay 100 % stock you can always put in the dual car horns as they are more common . Nice and loud , high and low pitch but the point adjustments can be a bit finicky . Use a relay too . 2 Quote
