Hello All,

I've been a mostly silent observer for a year or so but getting ready to become a nuisance start a build thread. Anyway, the wife and I took a nice drive down to Ocean City, MD last Thursday for a car show called "Cruisin' OC". It's about 3 hours or so from our house. Mostly hot rods, rat rods, and muscle cars but it had a few nice gems which I will upload in this topic. It was a huge show with maybe 2-3 thousand cars - seriously!

Anyway, how amazed I was that after entering the main area where most vehicles were on display, the FIRST one I saw was..you guessed it..a Dodge Pilothouse! It's for sale if anyone is interested, although IMO not worth what the owner is asking. The paint job was starting to rust through in spots, and it seemed to me that he "cheated" by covering up the running boards and bed with diamondplate.

Anyway here are a few pictures.

Not a Dodge, but since I own a '58 IH Farmall Cub I figure it's OK for me to show this old International Harvester pickup..

Here was a beautifully restored 1936 Fargo..

$12,500 maybe high but cannot start from scratch and get to where this truck is for $12,500. It has a number of OEM issues, engine, tyranny, rear axle, tailgate, just to name the obvious.

Edit, love the patina IH, and the extended cab Plymouth, others very nice also.

Lot of good looking trucks there Jeff....Thanks for posting them. ^_^

12,500 isn't to high if you can't do the big tasks like painting, upholstry, welding, engine rebuild. imo

Ocean City is basically a town built on a sandbar island in the Atlantic Ocean. It's a fantastic place to spend a few days, especially with the family. Beach, waves, boardwalk, bikinis (not that I look), pizza, amusement park, etc. Growing up my dad and mom used to load us kids in the station wagon every summer and we spent a few glorious days there. Anyway, as you're leaving there's a very normal looking road sign on the Route 50 bridge connecting the island to the mainland.

I took 200-odd pictures over 2-3 days but am trying to stay somewhat tuned in on what would be of interest here. My wife fell head over heels in love with a green '69 Mustang Mach 1 and has been giving me the cold shoulder since I told her we had to get the truck running first. Oh well..nothing new there!

So unless you guys want to see a few more here are my last few. First is a shot of me sitting on (I think) a model T. The owner was a great guy who started it up for us, showed us how it operated, and insisted I sit in the seat while my wife took the picture.

Next - on our last day we met another super nice guy in the parking lot while we were walking to get breakfast. Attached is a shot of him sitting next to what I believe is an immaculately restored Model A.

Finally the Evil Mustang that's significantly cooled down certain aspects of my marriage ...

- Jeff

Hmm.. I guess losing out to a horse might make me ..er.. "short in the saddle" I've also been accused of being the southern end of a northbound horse!

Looks like a modified '32 Ford rather than immaculately restored Model A to me. At least its wheels have been swapped out and it looks like the suspension has been lowered.

All the photos are of Fords and all are cars not truck. Wonder if the truck side moderator will consider this off topic. :)

Enjoyed the photos above and I also like the IH trucks.

Also enjoyed Plymouthy's humor ...

It took me a while to find the blinker fluid .. I guess the instructions on how to use it must be on the other side of the container :P

It is a Model A.  The gas cap in the center of the cowl is the giveaway, but it does have a '32 grill shell.  Nice looking car!
