Bob, as much as Cooper has been riding in the Wayback Machine, I'm pretty sure he could take you for a ride. And you can ride with your head out the window. Not sure about using the camera though, altho he does seem to do pretty good with the videos of you driving. You've got a good attitude and I know your not going to let it get you down.

Bob can't say much more that hasn't already been said but the 3 of us will be praying for a speedy recovery.

wishing you a speedy recovery so you can get back to posting pictures from the way back machine, I don't always comment on them but I always enjoy them. Thank you

Bob, wishing you a speedy recovery.

My wife was diagnosed with "Non Hodgkins Lymphoma" she has endured many cycles of chemo and radiation therapy.:(

She is currently in remission (2 years with all scans showing no further tumours).:)

Over here in Australia they don't talk of cure until you have been free from cancer for 5 years.

She is now healthy, happy, and most importantly "alive".:D

As you mentioned, catching it early makes a big difference.

I hope all goes well and you get back to your 40.

Mick Kelly.

Bob;

My wife was sent home with breast cancer and told they could do nothing for her. She found another place. that was 6 years ago. Next month she takes the last of her meds and is declared cancer-free. EVERY day they make progress. There is every reason to believe your outcome will be as good as my wife's. She used her horse as the thing that "got her up in the morning" through all this. Ol' Wayback can do the same for you. You and your family are in our prayers. Please keep us posted.

Sorry to hear of the diagnosis Bob, but all shall be well!! Early detection/intervention, positive thoughts, prayers and support from friends and loved ones is the start of a cure for cancer in my eyes. Having said that, and knowing that you have the full support of your extended Mopar family here, I expect a speedy recovery!

Warm wishes and kind thoughts are extended to you and family (including Cooper) from myself and my family here in sunny Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

Take care of yourself Bob, try not to get hooked on too many soaps whilst kicking back in the recliner! ;) You an' ol' Cooper will be back on the road in no time. Be sure to keep the docs, nurses and pharmacists informed of any aches, leaks or euphoria. ;) They can help treat those pesky chemo side effects when you tell them honestly how you're feeling. No need to play Mr. Tough Guy!

Hate to hear that Bob, keep the positive attitude, and you will be back in your 'Ol Mopar in no time. My family and I will keep you and yours in our thoughts and prayers. Best to you and your family.

Bob,

As you have read here I have "beaten" two cases of stage four cancer this year, something I attribute at least in part to the prayers and well-wishes I received from this forum. I went into it with a positive attitude but that's the extent of anything I have been personally been able to do about it, the rest being left in the hands of my care givers and anyone (anything?) else with the power to effect my outcome. I spent several hours with UC Hospital doctors and staff yesterday (they're supplementing with things the VA is unable to supply) and the advances made in just the 4 1/2 years since Lynn's cancer treatments with the same folks are amazing. Radiation treatment has gone, for example, from a "saturation" approach to a pin-point, laser guided application and is so much easier to endure that a driver for my ride home might not even be necessary.

Lynn and I both came through our cancers after help from this forum's members and I see no reason to not expect the same for you; I'd feel quite selfish if you didn't and so we will not only include you in our prayers but also a wish not to become selfish. You're a good guy, Bob, and deserve only the best, which is what you should expect.

Bob,I wish you well, hope all goes smoothly.I like Paul's suggestion of using humour to supplement the medical treatment you're undergoing...I still get a laugh when I watch episodes of All in the Family with Archie Bunker (Carrol O'conner),also I get a laugh watching Groucho Marx,Red Skelton and others...And I'm sure there's a list things you have to look forward to - among others, getting back into the driver's seat of your old coupe with Cooper and no doubt folks in your area will be looking forward to you fulfilling your role as Santa next Christmas..

Ralph

I would only add Red Green to the list that has already been provided. We're all in this together, and keep your stick on the ice.

Prayers headed your way, Bob. Guys, would anyone be interested in setting aside a time of group prayer for Bob this weekend? Even though we're in different states we could come together and do this simultaneously. Maybe Sunday morning at 7am for 15 minutes?

Yesterday Cooper and I fired up the "wayback machine" and put some miles on her. Didn't go far, but far enough to enjoy ourselves in the old girl for the first time in two weeks.

Yesterday I had my second round of cemo treatments plus saw my Dr. He was very pleased that my tumor had shrunk so as it is really not noticiable. He told me that doesn't happen all the time. I am hooked up to a metered pump with a cemo fanny pack until Friday afternoon, then I got back on July 2nd for the last cemo treatment, and start the radiation around the end of July. We drove up to Cooperstown on Sunday, spent the night at our "Camp" as we call it. It is ours until the radiation treatments are done. That way we can have Cooper with us.

I have attached a photo of my two guardian angels at the cancer center, these two girls are very good at what they do and are to be commended.

The second photo of of true love on the way to Cooperstown on Sunday and the other photo is of our "camp"

Thanks again everyone one,

Bob
