Most of us, when we take pictures of our cars, like to show the front of the car as it has the most "bling". However, our cars are pretty no matter what angle the picture is taken from. I had one of my cars (1948 Dodge D25 Club Coupe) out yesterday and got some pictures of it taken across a local irrigation canal. Three slightly different views but pretty from any angle. I actually like the back of the car picture the best. I also think that if the front wheels are turned slightly it enhances most car pictues although I did not do it for these ones. Try taking pictures of your cars from different angles, turn the front wheels a bit, and find interesting backgrounds. These things give you some interesting pictures for your albums.

Well, you're right, it doesn't matter how you take a picture, that is a beautiful car. The shape is how a car should be shaped. Blue is my favorite color. Even so, there just isn't a way to improve on that design.

Pretty indeed, Robert.

In addition to the fine subject material, I think there are three more subtle reasons your photos look so good...

The camera height is a little lower than usual, in that it seems to be about in line with bottom of the windows. All too often the camera is held at eye-height-while-standing which tends to result in boring photos and more cluttered backgrounds.

You are further away from the car — the natural tendency for most folks is to move in real close and fill the frame with their subject. Stepping much further back and zooming in yields a more professional look and less distortion of the subject.

In the third photo the side of the car is in sunlight and the rear in shade. This creates a pleasing contrast, more visually interesting than, say, the all-one-colour appearance of the first photo in which the front and side are both sunlit.

I once heard a designer say that the test of a car's beauty is the rear three-quarter angle.

That last shot proves the fact that the P15/D24 is a masterpiece and a true beauty.

Next time you're at a car show, check out the competition.

You can see, from the comparison below, that the styling of Furd products doesn't stand up well. Chebby is better (I flipped the picture to get the same angle), but Plymouth wins hands down.

In fact, I did Google image searches for these pictures and it was interesting that there were so many more rear views of Plymouths compared to the other two.

Seems that lots of people can see the beauty in our cars...

And this one next to one of those buggy sprung, closed driveline, overheating prone Furds.

Love those wide white walls but I have to say . . .

"I like big butts and I can not lie

You other brothers can't deny"

Cheers!
