JBNeal Posted April 5, 2024 Report Posted April 5, 2024 the guy in uniform might be the driver scrutinizing the log book, some of them drivers were dressed so formal back in the day as opposed to the operators nowadays who are sportin stained wife-beaters n boxers n crocs...every time I look at these old rigs, I try to figure out what the deal is with all of the bolt-ons; this'n appears to have reflector on the fender flare, lights below the bumper and atop the fenders, some small tank behind the cab ahead of the saddle tank, and apparently another tag screwed right to the grill panel, but no antenna for jamming to the AM radio...probably couldn't hear the radio while on the highway anyhow ⚡️ Quote

I know. I saw a firefighter waiting for the local post office to open-up, yesterday. He was sitting in a marked car, next to another business that had the word "burn" in its name. I was thinking about making a practical joke, but then he stepped out of the car, wearing the "parade-style" uniform with a white shirt, black dress pants, polished shoes, etc. I was so impressed with the proper attire, I did not go through with the joke 🤣 Quote
Dave72dt Posted April 6, 2024 Report Posted April 6, 2024 those "pointy things" are probably quarts of oil Quote
