Hi all, in the Winnipeg Area, located 200 miles north of Fargo ND on 1 29, it is 90 f, with a humidex of 110 f.

Severe t/storm warnings are on, and we should see a rain or electrical storm tonight, nice and muggy.

We don't get these temps for to long, but we get em...........Fred

It is supposed to be 72F and sunny outside according to the weather channel feed on the Internet. I haven't been outside to see if that is accurate but it is fairly typical of this time of year so it could be.

Sure have been spoiled since moving to a place that has the one of the best climates in the world.

we pegged 100 and the index..who knows..my outside time is down to 15 minute of grubbing up azlalea roots then back in for a coold down.....down to the last clump and it is the Queen Mary of them all..a cluster of about 20 stems that are all over 1 1/4 inches thick..slowly eating this elephant one bit at a time..

Well, we have been in the high 60s here lately....and even some rain! NOT typical for San Diego in the SUMMER! I like it. It's only my second year here, but I had enough dry heat last spring through November!

Fresno, CA. Been between 101 and 106 for the past week. Humidity around 30. Should go back into the 90's next week which is nice weather. We are in an irrigated desert, on a typical day the temp rises 30 degrees from the sunup temp, so our days are quite comfortable until about 3 pm. We reach our highest temp arount 5 pm, once the sun sets our temps fall fast so we have nice evenings and no bugs.

I've not had any bugs..am sure if they thought they hung around I would put them to work...that last root ball was the master root that all the other azaleas sprung up from..that was a nasty one..had to bring it out in about 9 chunks..

heat index 106 humidity 45% t-shirt humidity 123%

Officially 102 F today, but hotter in town where I work. Heat lingers into the evening making rest hard to come by before midnight. Utility bill nearly as much as the mortgage now so no relief unless it rains. A hurricane would be a nice break in the heat, I'd take the risks. Good thing global warming is just a trick of the liberal left, we'd be sunk for sure if it was real........

It was around 97 or 98 degrees with a heat index of 110. I have been working on carpet cleaning equipment in my driveway for the last two weeks:(. Next week I will be cleaning off-campus college apartments, its usually 100+ during the day and then working with steam and heat:eek:. It's gonna be miserable.
