Norman Milliner (Norm's Coupe) has past away.

Norm, you were the first person to reach out to me on this forum. Your advice, good nature, and compassion is a model to follow. I'm sorry we never got to meet up for a burger or breakfast. I hope you get to drive your coupe on the big open roads up there.

Rest in peace.:(

My condolences to his family and friends.

I just arrived in Miami and this was not what I wanted to read this afternoon.

Like others I believed Norm was away enjoying the holidays and that is why

he had not posted for a few days.

Norm and I did a lot of bantering over the years but we were good friends. As

Bob Toft mentioned Norm and his wife Mary stopped by for a visit here in the

Boro a couple years back. I gave them all a Boro tour in my car and we had a

great time. His wit was always enjoyed and he looked at things from a

different angle usually offering a different perspective of ways to deal with

old car (and other) issues. For sure he will be missed by all.

I have received much good advice from this gentleman without ever asking him a question or even speaking with him. It says alot about a man that is always willing to share his knowledge and skills with people he doesn't even know. He is one of many many on this forum. Sadly, there is now 1 less. Rest in Peace.

Same here, he was a wealth of Knowledge. Even though he is gone he will not be forgotten. His posts and input will be on this forum to help us all out in the future.

Thank you for all of your help Norm, R.I.P.

I'm as shocked as anybody. Although I haven't been around here for very long I will miss this guy. There weren't too many subjects regarding these cars that he didn't have a good bit of knowledge about. His voice will live on as long as this forum is alive and the search feature guarantees that the knowlege will be around for a long time. Godspeed in Overdrive Norm!

My condolences to Mary, Norm's family and all of you who grieve Norm's passing. Sometimes the only measure of a man's life is how much he will be missed by others. Here on the Forum we do make friend and connection through the brotherhood of the love of wrenching on old cars. Some would call us crazy or out of touch but we know the joy we get and the camaraderie we share across the miles know others have experienced the same joys and frustrations. When a valued member like Norm passes it is a big loss even for us who never met him and a bigger loss for you who knew him well and still valued his friendship. Norm was always an inspiration to me for the frequency and details of his posts. At least we have that pleasure to draw on in the future when a situation will arise and we can ask ourselves. What would Norm have said. Maybe by doing that he will not have left use completely.
