Ed Griffin Posted January 15, 2009 Report Posted January 15, 2009 Had'nt been on here in awhile and thought I'd share some pic's of this truck at a friends shop he was working on. Quote
RobertKB Posted January 15, 2009 Report Posted January 15, 2009 That is one sweet truck. Tell your friend he is doing a beautiful job! Thanks for sharing/ Quote
Jim Saraceno Posted January 15, 2009 Report Posted January 15, 2009 Nice truck! My wife wants one just like that. Quote
Young Ed Posted January 15, 2009 Report Posted January 15, 2009 Jim a member of our local POC group passed away about a year ago. He had a red and black 37. If you want I could find out if its still around or if his kids sold it already. Quote
Jim Saraceno Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 Well thanks for the offer guys but one car is all I can handle. I have neither the time, money nor storage room to take on a second car so we would have to get rid of "Bluebelle" to get a truck for my wife and that's not going to happen. I honestly don't even know if she could drive one of these old vehicles. I've had my '35 for six years and she has never attempted to drive it. When she sees an old truck that she likes she points at it and says "That's the one I want" but it's with the same meaning as a 4 year old saying she wants a pony. When she was a kid, she used to work on cars all the time but by the time she was 18, it became really difficult. I'm not sure what her problem is. Quote
Brendan D25 Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 Well Jim, looks like you're gonna have to buy her a lift so she can get the car high enough to work on, or breast reduction, whichever is cheaper. Quote
Don Coatney Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 Well Jim, looks like you're gonna have to buy her a lift so she can get the car high enough to work on, or breast reduction, whichever is cheaper. I would go with the lift:cool: Quote
Merle Coggins Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 I would go with the lift:cool: I think she already got one. Quote
Don Coatney Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 Nice Dagmars! Are you talking about Virginia Ruth Egnor;) Quote
Frank Elder Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 Yes, the amply endowed woman who got bumper bullets named after her, you got me! Quote
Niel Hoback Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 Thats why we called my 55 Buick "Dagmar" Quote
Ed Griffin Posted January 17, 2009 Author Report Posted January 17, 2009 Guess the 53 must have still been in the developing stage. Quote
